OPEN TENDER NOTICE NO. 3 of 2006-07 of DY.CE/CON/II/HJP
  

Sealed open tenders are invited by Dy. Chief Engineer (Con)/II/ E.C.Railway ,Hajipur, (on behalf of the President of India) for following works from financially resourceful and well experienced firms which will be received up to 12.00 hrs of 24.05.2006 and will be opened at 12.30 hrs on the same date in the office of the CAO/Con/MHX/Patna.

NOTE:-

The tender document may be obtained in person from the office of CAO/Con/MHX/Patna between 10.00 hrs. to 16.00 hours on any working day from 09.05.06 to 23.05.06 on production of demand draft of any nationalized/Scheduled bank in favour of FA & CAO / Con/ECR, Patna or money receipt for the cost of tender mentioned above deposited with the divisional cashier/ Sonpur or Danapur division which is not refundable.

Those who want tender documents through postal dak should deposit R s 100/- extra as postal charge in addition to cost of the tender documents. In case of sending of tender documents by postal dak, Railway does not take responsibility of non-receipt of tender documents by the tenderer.

Tender for the above mentioned work will not be considered without the deposit of full earnest money as indicated above. Earnest money should be deposited in cash or in shape of FDR, Demand Draft of the State Bank of India or any Nationalized Bank in favour of FA & CAO / Con/ECR, Patna.

Eligibility criteria :-
  

(1)

Contractor should have completed in the last three financial years (i.e. current year and three previous financial years), at least one similar * work, for minimum value of 35% of Advertised tender value.
  

(2)

Total contractual amount received during the last three financial years and in the current financial year, should be a minimum of 150% of advertised tender value as per audited balance sheet duly certified by the Chartered Accountant. For the financial year ended and/or the current financial year if audited balance sheet is not available contractual amount received duly certified by the chartered accountant should be submitted as a proof of turnover.
  

Alternatively at least payment certificates from Central Govt./ State Govt./Central P.S.Us/State P.S.Us and other Government Agencies for a minimum of 150% of advertised tender value may be submitted.
  

(3)

Contractor should submit revenue/Banker’s Solvency certificate of minimum 40% of advertised tender value of work.
  

Similar nature of work is defined as under:
Works of "Transportation of P. way materials" will be considered as similar nature of works.

Tenders in form of Joint Venture/ AOP will not be considered.
