NOTICE INVITING
TENDER
Properly sealed (PVC
Tape/ Sealing wax) percentage rate tenders are invited by Divisional
Engineer Telecom, Microwave Project, Sambalpur, for and on behalf of
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), from the ELIGIBLE, REGISTRED &
EXPERIENCED MANUFACTURERS/CONTRACTORS OF SOUND FINANCIAL STANDING for
Excavation, trenching and laying of PLB Duct and associated works between
(A) OAN in Sambalpur City and (B) Supply of MS Clamps/Brackets & Nuts
& Bolts as per the specification laid down in the tender documents.

be enclosed separately towards the cost of the tender document
along-with the Bid Security. |

undersigned will not be responsible for any postal delay. |

ELIGIBILITY
CONDITION |
| a] |
BSNL empanelled
contractors of category A1, A, B, C, D & E are eligible to
participate in the NIT
|
| b] |
(i) The contractors
not empanelled by BSNL can also participate in the NIT. Such
contractors should have valid A, B, C & D category contract
license for civil works issued by CPWD/ State PWD/Irrigation/Railway
departments etc. and must satisfy all other conditions stipulated in
the tender documents. However, the offers of these bidders will be
entertained in case there is only one or no BSNL empanelled
contractor in the section/sections they have applied for, to
encourage competition.
(ii) The bidders not empanelled by BSNL must have the experience of
executing HDPE Pipe/PLB Duct/UG Cable laying or laying of under
ground utilities like GI/CI/RCC Hume pipes worth Rs.10 lakh or more
during last three years. A certificate to this effect issued by an
Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Divisional Engineer
should be enclosed along with the Bid document.
(iii) Contractors empanelled under D & E categories by BSNL will
be treated at par with out side contractors.

Each bidder can
participate for maximum 02 (Two) Sections only.
|
| d] |
Contractors who
have been allotted 02 (two) or more sections by DGM Microwave
Project, Bhubaneswar and
the works have not been completed are not eligible to participate in
the NIT. However, contractors with one work in hand can apply for
one section only.
|
| e] |
The Contractors
whose agreements have been rescinded/cancelled are not eligible to
participate in the barred period.
|
| f] |
For supply of MS
Clamps/Brackets & Nuts & Bolts Reputed & Registered
Manufacturers/Contractors having Certificate of Registration of
Industries/Factories from State Government Authority is required.
|
| 5. |
Conditional tenders
will not be accepted.
|
| 6. |
The tenderer has to
apply in his letterhead specifying the name of the works for which
he requires tender papers.
|
| 7. |
For PLB Duct laying
a tenderer has to fulfil the eligibility conditions as laid down in
the Qualifying Bid for opening of his Financial Bid Document.
Therefore, tenderer not fulfilling the eligibility conditions
mentioned below (item Sl.No.4) should not take part in the NIT.
|
| 8. |
Time is the essence
of work contract. The tenderers who are certain to complete the work
within the stipulated time as mentioned in the tender document and
NIT should participate in this NIT.
|
| 9. |
Tender document,
which is not accompanied by the requisite Bid Security, shall be
summarily rejected.
|
| 10. |
Tender will not be
accepted/ received after expiry of scheduled date and time.
|
| 11. |
The DET, M/W
Project, Sambalpur reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
tenders, in part or whole without assigning any reason thereof.
|
| 12. |
The competent
authority is not bound to accept the lowest tender.
|
| 13. |
Other details have
been specified in the tender documents.
