1)
|
Tender
should be on prescribed form which can be obtained from the office of the
Divisional Railway Manager(Engg)/East Central Railway/Samastipur for
item No. 01 to 02 & from
the office of GM(Engg)/ ECR/Hajipur for item No.02 only on any working day prior 15 (Fifteen) days
from the date of opening of tender to one day before the date of opening of
tender from 10.00 hrs. to 13.00 hrs. on cash payment which is not
refundable. Those tenderers , who want tender documents through Postal Dak
should send Rs.50/-(Fifty) only extra
each tender as postal charges etc. In case of sending tender documents
by postal dak to the tenderer, the railway will not take any
responsibility for non receipt of the tender document.

No
responsibility will be accepted for delay in postal transit.
late/delayed/post tender received after closing date /time will summarily
be rejected..
|
|
3)
|
In
case any unusual occurance viz
Strike, Band, Holidays etc. the dropping of tender and opening of
tender will be done on the next working day at schedule time.
|
|
4)
|
The
tenderer not borne on the approved list of Contractors of Samastipur –
Division must submit his/their full Credential, Experience regarding execution of
similar nature of work with other certificates.
|
|
5)
|
No
tender will be considered without deposit of full Earnest money. The
earnest money should be in cash or in the the shape of Deposit Receipt,
Pay orders, Demand Draft issued from State Bank of India or any
nationalized bank in favour of FA & CA0/East Central/Railway.
|
|
6)
|
The
successful tenderer should have to submit a performance guarantee in the
form of an irrevocable bank guarantee amounting to 5% of the contract
value within fifteen days after issue of acceptance letter.
|
|
7)
|
Eligibility
criteria for the works costing above Rs 10 lakhs :-
|
|
|
(i)
The intending tenderer should have completed
at least one similar single
work for a minimum value of 35% of advertised tender value of work
in the last three financial years (i.e. current year and three previous
financial years).The relevant
document should be furnished alongwith the tender.
|
|
|
(ii)
The intending tenderer should have received contract amount at least equal
to 150% of advertised tender value of work in the last three financial
years (i.e. current year and three previous financial
years).The relevant document
should be furnished alongwith the tender.

|
The
tender notice can be seen on website http://www.tendertimes.com.The
tender documents can also be downloaded from fifteen days prior of date of
opening of tender to one day before the date of opening of the tender
.Demand Draft in favour FA & CAO/E.C.Rly must be attached with
tender document as the cost of tender documents. The facility is
available free of cost,
however Demand Draft for the amount as mentioned against each of the work
towards cost of tender paper in favour of FA & CAO/ E.C.Rly payble at
Samastipur will have to be enclosed with tender documents
in addition to earnest money.

In
case of tender documents downloaded from internet website if tender is not
accompanied with valid demand draft towards the cost of tender documents
with the tender documents the tender will be summarily rejected.

|
Other
Terms and conditions regarding tender are mentioned in tender document and
can be seen on the Notice Board of the 0ffice of the undersigned on any
working day.
