COST OF THE TENDER DOCUEMNTS

Demand draft/Pay order for Rs.563/- (Rupees Five hundred Sixty three) only from any Scheduled/Nationalized Bank for each set of BID DOCUMENT must be made in favor of "ACCOUNTS OFFICER, BSNL MICROWAVE PROJECT, BHUABNESWAR .The Document can also be obtained by post by sending a D/D of Rs.600/-. However the authority will not be responsible for postal delay. If the tender document is downloaded from the website www.etp.bsnl.co.in & www.tendertimes.com, a Demand Draft /Pay order has to be enclosed separately towards the cost of the tender document along with Bid Security.

OPENING OF QUALIFYING BID & VERIFICATION OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS.

At 14.00 hrs of 21.12.2006 at the % DGM M/W (P) Plot No.82 Sahid Nagar, BBSR-7 & it may be extended to next day.

TIME OF OPENING FINANACIAL BID

Will be intimated to the qualified bidders.

Conditional tender will not be accepted.
  

The tenderers have to apply in their letterhead specifying the name of the works with a set of desired minimum documents and produce the Original Certificates for verification if required before issue of tender papers. Tender paper will not be issued to such contractors/agencies whose performance in DOT/BSNL in last two years period is found unsatisfactory.
  

ELIGIBILITY CONDITION: - ( For PLB DUCT laying work)
  

a)

Contractors having experience in OFC/ Underground cable laying/ Road & Buildings/ Irrigation/ Railway etc. with sound financial condition having executed minimum value of works of 3 lakhs in last three years. The contractors should have actually received the amount mentioned above.
  

b)

The Contractors should have valid category contract license for civil works issued by CPWD/State PWD/Irrigation /Railway.Departments etc.and must satisfy all other conditions stipulated in the tender document. BSNL empanelled contractors of A1, A, B, C & D category are also eligible to participate in the NIT.
  

c)

A certificate to this effect issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer /Divisional Engineer should be enclosed alongwith the Bid Document.
  

Each bidder can participate for maximum 2(two) sections only from whole tender.
  

d)

Contractors who are having two sections or more under DGM MWP Bhubaneswar and not completed the works are not eligible to participate in the NIT.
  

e)

Contractor should submit the valid EPF code book along with Bid document or that must be produced by L1 bidder prior to agreement.
  

f)

The contractors having one work in hand under DGM, MWP, Bhubaneswar can purchase only one tender document. However, the contractors who have one work in hand and not completed the same within the schedule period are not eligible to participate in the tender.
  

The tenderers have to fulfill the eligibility conditions as laid down in the qualifying bid for their eligibility before opening of Financial bid documents. Time is the essence of work contract. The tenderers who are certain to complete the work within the stipulated time as mentioned in the tender document and NIT only need to participate in this tender.
  

The Tender document, which is not accompanied by the requisite Bid Security, shall be summarily rejected. The tender will not be accepted/received after expiry of date and time.
  

The DET, S&A (P), Keonjhar reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, in part or whole without assigning any reason whatsoever. Other details have been specified in the tender documents.
