N0TE :-
  

Similar nature of work for the works above Rs.10 lakhs :-
    

1)

Tender should be on prescribed form which can be obtained from the office of the Divisional Railway Manager(Engg)/East Central Railway/Samastipur for item No.01 to 08 & from the office of  GM(Engg)/ECR/Hajipur for item no. 03 to 05 & 07 to 08 only on any working day prior 15 (Fifteen) days   from the date  of opening of tender to one day before the date of opening of tender from 10.00 hrs. to 13.00 hrs. on cash payment which is not refundable. Those tenderers , who want tender documents through Postal Dak should send Rs.50/-(Fifty) only  extra each tender as postal charges etc. In case of sending tender documents  by postal dak to the tenderer, the railway will not take any responsibility for non receipt of the tender document.
    

2)

No responsibility will be accepted for delay in postal transit. Late/delayed/post tender received after closing date /time will summarily be rejected.
   

3)

In case any unusual  occurrence  viz  Strike, Band, Holidays etc. the dropping of tender and opening of tender will be done on the next working day at schedule time.
   

4)

The tenderer not borne on the approved list of Contractors of Samastipur – Division must submit  his/their full Credential, Experience regarding execution of similar nature of work with other certificates.
   

5)

No tender will be considered without deposit of full Earnest money. The earnest money should be in cash or in the the shape of Deposit Receipt, Pay orders, Demand Draft issued from State Bank of India or any nationalized bank in favour of FA & CA0/East Central Railway.
   

6)

The successful tenderer should have to submit a performance guarantee in the form of an irrevocable bank guarantee amounting to 5% of the contract value within fifteen days after issue of acceptance letter.
   

7)

Minimum Eligibility criteria for the works costing above Rs 10 lakhs :-
    

(i)

For item no.07 only :- The tenderer in his own name and style should submit revenue/bankers solvency certificate for at least 40% of advertised tender value of work.
    

(ii)

The intending tenderer should have completed  at least one similar single   work for a minimum value of 35% of advertised tender value of work in the last three financial years (i.e. current year and three previous financial  years).The relevant  document should be furnished alongwith the tender.
    

(iii)

The intending tenderer should have received contract amount at least equal to 150% of advertised tender value of work in the last three financial years (i.e. current year and three previous financial  years).The relevant  document should be furnished alongwith the tender.
   

Special Condition for item no.07 only :-
   

(i)

Each tenderer at the time of tendering shall submit test report of impact value, abration value and water absorption value from reputed laboratories/Institution (Approved by Govt. of India).
  

(ii)

The tenderer should either be a quarry lease holder or He/They should have a proper agreement with authentic lease holder to ensure to regular supply of ballast during contract period. He/They should produce authentic documents regarding this alongwith his/their tender.

The tender notice can be seen on website http://www.tendertimes.com. & http://www.ecr. indianrail.gov.in The tender documents can also be downloaded from fifteen days prior of date of opening of tender to one day before the date of opening of the tender .Demand Draft in favour FA & CAO/E.C.Rly must be attached with  tender document as the cost of tender documents. The facility is available free of  cost, however Demand Draft for the amount as mentioned against each of the work towards cost of tender paper in favour of FA & CAO/ E.C.Rly payble at Samastipur will have to be enclosed with tender documents in addition to earnest money.
   

9)

In case of tender documents downloaded from internet website if tender is not accompanied with valid demand draft towards the cost of tender documents with the tender documents the tender will be summarily rejected.
