Construction of RCC Manhole for OAN in Koraput town & (c) PLB
duct laying by open trench method and other associated work for OAN
in Berhampur City.

2. |
ELIGIBILITY
CONDITION: - (
For Cable blowing work & Manual cable pulling)
|
|
|
a) |
Contractors
having experience in OFC/underground cable laying work with
sound financial condition having executed minimum value of
works of Rs.5 lakhs in last three years. The contractors
should have actually received the amount mentioned above.
|
|
|
b) |
The
Contractors should have valid category contract license for
civil works issued by CPWD/State PWD/Irrigation /Railway
Departments etc. and must satisfy all other conditions
stipulated in the tender document. BSNL empanelled contractors
of A1, A, B, C & D category are also eligible to
participate in the NIT.
|
|
|
c) |
Experience
certificate issued by an officer
not below the rank of Executive Engineer /Divisional
Engineer should be enclosed alongwith the Bid Document.
|
|
|
d) |
Solvency
Certificate of Rs.2 lakhs from the banker of the tenderer is
to be submitted by the tenderer along with the qualifying bid.
The solvency certificate shall not be older than the date of
issue of NIT. For working contractor under DGM, MWP,
Bhubaneswar this condition is relaxed.

3. |
ELIGIBILITY
CONDITION: - (
For construction of Manhole for OAN in Koraput town)
|
|
a) |
Approved
and eligibility contractors of BSNL/DOT/CPWD/Railways/Orissa
state PWD and Irrigation/MES (‘C’ Class and above).
|
|
b) |
The
contractor should have satisfactorly completed works of
similar nature, such as under ground man holes, construction
of building, bridges. Overhead and under ground tanks, PHD
sewerage lines and canal construction involving concrete works
etc. costing 10 (Ten) Lakhs or above during last 3 (Three)
years.
|
|
c) |
The
experience certificate should be issued by an officer not
below the rank of Executive Engineer/Divisional Engineer.
|
|
d) |
Solvency
Certificate of Rs.2 lakhs from the banker of the tenderer is
to be submitted by the tenderer along with qualifying bid. The
Solvency Certificate will not be older than the date of issue
of NIT. For working contractors it is relaxed.

e) |
Contractors

4. |

PLB duct laying work for OAN in Berhampur(Gm)
|
|
|
a) |
Registered
contractors of category C and above are eligible to
participate in the NIT.
|
|
|
b) |
Contractors
having experience in OFC/underground cable laying, Railway,
Road & Building with sound financial condition having
executed minimum value of works of Rs.5 lakhs in last three
years are eligible to participate in this tender. The
contractors should have actually received the amount mentioned
above.
|
|
|
c) |
The
Contractors should have valid category contract license for
civil works issued by CPWD/State PWD/Irrigation/Railway
Departments etc. and must satisfy all other conditions
stipulated in the tender document. BSNL empanelled contractors
of A1, A, B, C & D category are also eligible to
participate in the NIT.

|
d) |

agreement.

|
g) |
Solvency

Demand
Draft/Pay order for Rs.563/- (Rupees Five hundred Sixty
three) only from any Scheduled/Nationalized Bank for
each set of BID DOCUMENT must be made in favor of
"ACCOUNTS OFFICER, BSNL MICROWAVE PROJECT,
BHUABNESWAR. If the tender document is downloaded from
the website www.etp.bsnl.co.in
or www.tenderstimes.com, a Demand Draft /Pay order has
to be enclosed separately towards the cost of the tender
document along with Bid Security.

everyday except Sunday and Public holidays at the (a)
O/o DET, Microwave Project, Berhampur(Gm.) (b) O/o D.G.M, M/W(P),
Bhubaneswar-7. Tender documents can also be sent by post
to the DET, Microwave Project, Near LIC Office, Church
Road, Berhampur(Gm)-760001 well in advance to be
received with in the scheduled date & time. However,
BSNL will not be held responsible for any postal delay
or missing in transit.

OPENING
OF QUALIFYING BID & VERIFICATION OF ORIGINAL
DOCUMENTS. |
At
11.300 hrs of 24.07.2007 at the O/o DGM,BSNL, M/W (P),
Plot No.82, Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar-7 in the presence
of tenderer or their authorized representatives. The
opening date will be shifted to next working day if that
day is declared as holiday/strike day.

TIME
OF OPENING FINANACIAL BID |
Will
be intimated to the qualified bidders. |
|

6. |
The
tenderers have to apply in their letter heads for issue of
Tender document specifying the name of the work.
|
|
7. |
Time
is the essence of work contract. The tenderers who are certain
to complete the work within the stipulated time as mentioned
in the tender document and NIT need only participate in this
tender.
|
|
8. |
The
tenderer have to fulfill the eligibility conditions as laid
down in the Qualifying Bid for opening of their Financial Bid
documents.
|
|
9. |
Tender
Papers will not be issued to such agencies whose performance
in DOT/BSNL have been unsatisfactory
|
|
10. |
The
Tender document, which is not accompanied by the requisite Bid
Security (EMD), shall summarily
be rejected.
|
|
11. |
Tender
Papers will not be accepted/ received after expiry of date and
time.
|
|
12. |
Conditional
Tenders will not be accepted.
|
|
13. |
The
tenderer should visit the site before quoting the rate.
|
|
14. |
The
successful bidder is to execute the agreement by submitting
material security within 10(Ten) days after the acceptance of
tender, failing which the contract will be treated as
cancelled.
|
|
15. |
The
DGM, M/W Project, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to reject any
or all tenders, in part or whole without assigning any reason
thereof.
|
|
16. |
The
competent authority is not bound to accept the lowest tender.
|
|
17. |
