Sealed Open Tender is invited for & on behalf of the President of India
from reputed contractors with sufficient experience and financial
capability including those registered with Railway/Irrigation/CPWD/SEBs/MES
or any other Public sector undertaking for following works.

scope of the work as mentioned above, it is indicated only.
Its details scope has been given in the tender documents.
However, these details can also be collected from the office
of the undersigned.

Tender
documents (Non- Transferable) containing all the norms &
condition can be obtained from the office of the CAO/Con/E.C.
Rly. Mahendrughat, Patna, on any working day from 11.00 hrs.
to 16.00 hrs. from 19.11.07 to 04.12.07. For purchasing the
tender documents the cost of the tender documents as mentioned
above, should be deposited with the Divisional Cashier/E.C/Rly.Danapur/Sonepur
and receipt obtained which should be deposited with the CAO/Con/E.C.
Rly. Mahendrughat, Patna or on production of demand draft
from any nationalise bank/schedule bank in f/o FA & CAO/Con/E.C.Rly./Patna.
for obtaining the set of tender documents. In case any tenderer
wishes to obtain tender documents by post Rs.500/- (Rupees
Five hundred) extra should be sent by Money Order to the Divisional
Cashier/E. C. Rly. Danapur, Sonepur. After receipt of the
remittance, the CAO/Con/E.C. Rly. Mahendrughat, Patna shall
send the tender documents by post to him. However, the Railway
takes no responsibility for delay, loss or non receipt of
tender documents sent by post.

The
Tenderers are advised to visit the site of the work acquaint
themselves with the site condition and the expected quantum
of work in their own tenderers. The tender must be accompanied
with prescribed amount of Earnest Money as mentioned above
in acceptable form or mentioned in the tender documents. The
adjustment of Earnest Money submitted with earlier tender
or recovery from outstanding bills will not be accepted &
the tenders without prescribed Earnest Money will be subsequently
rejected.

Tender
can be dropped in prescribed tender box placed in office of
the CAO/Con/E.C. Rly. Mahendrughat, Patna up to 12.00 hrs
on date of opening and tender will be opened at 12.30 hrs
on the same day in presence of Tenderers so present at the
time of opening of the tender. If the office is closed in
the stipulated date and time due to some unforeseen holiday,
the tender will be received and opened on the next working
day at the same time.

Tender,
sealed and super scribed in double envelop can also be sent
by Registered Post or through courier to the office of the
CAO/Con/E.C. Rly. Mahendrughat, Patna provided that, no tender
received after 12.00 hrs on date specified above for closing
of tender box, shall be considered. Railway shall not be responsible
for non-receipt or delayed receipt of such tender.

Such
tenders be first sealed in the envelop and be kept in another
envelop. The top envelope be marked clearly “This envelope
contain a sealed tender to be opened on and time.”

The
tender will be received in the office of the CAO/Con/E.C.
Rly. Mahendrughat, Patna up to 12.00 hrs on 05.12.07 and opened
on the same date at 12.30 hrs in the office of the undersigned
in presence of the Tenderers or their authorized representatives,
who may wish to remain present.

The
tender documents will also be available on website
http://www.tendertimes.com &
http://www.tender.gov.in during the tender notice
period and the same can be down loaded and used as tender
document for submitting the tender. This facility is available
free of cost. However the cost of tender form as mentioned
above has to be paid in the shape of Demand Draft issued in
favour of FA & CAO/Con, East Central Railway, Patna and
to be enclosed with the Tender Form while dropping the tender.
In case the tender is not accompanied with the valid Demand
Draft for the cost of the tender document the tender will
be summarily rejected. The tenderers / firms who are found
to be indulging in changing / adding or deleting the contents,
of the tender documents downloaded will be liable to face
necessary action as per extant instructions which could be
removal from approved list, banning suspension of business
dealings etc.

The
tender must be submitted with proper amount of earnest money
in f/o FA & CAO(Con)/E.C.Rly. Mahendrughat, Patna. The
tender form is not transferable.

The
Railway reserves the right to either cancel the tender or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason
thereof.
|
| |
However,
if final measurements have been recorded and work has been
completed with positive variation but variation has not been
sanctioned, original agreement value or last sanctioned agreement
value whichever is lower should be considered for judging
eligibility.

Criteria
|
| 1. |
Contractor
should have commercially registered Vehicle for area of work
as mentioned in name of work.
|
| 2. |
The
Vehicle should be in exceptionally good condition preferably
of 2005 make or onwards and shall comply all standard norms
of pollution control.
