4. |
Para 3.3.2 of tender Notice should be read
as under:-

(i)The tenderer should have
well established workshop to carry out welded/riveted
fabrication and assembly of triangulated girders (Details
alongwith a certificate from reputed agency should be
enclosed).
(ii)The tenderer should have done fabrication of
structural steel to the tune of 20,000 MT in the last five
years ending on 31/3/07, out of which at least 8,000 MT
should be pertaining to fabrication of girders (Details
should be given as per annexure-XIV, Ch. III duly
certified by Chartered Accountant).
(iii)However, the capacity will have to be augmented to
the level of fabrication of 2000 MT per month to suit the
over all target of completion of this bridge. In case,
tenderer proposes to set up a workshop at the work site or
at any other location to augment the fabrication capacity,
the tenderer shall establish their capability to set up
and operate such work shop in 6 months (from the date of
award of tender) by way of method statement and experience
of doing so in the past. Schematic layout of work shop
giving flow diagram of operation, fabrication scheme,
details of machinery and plants and key personnel for each
operation be given in the tender ( a certificate from
reputed agency regarding adequacy of resources for
proposed fabrication capacity should also be enclosed).
In support of the above, the tenderer shall submit the
following documents distinctly mentioning (i) existing
capability (ii) proposed enhancement to have total minimum
average turnover of 2000 MT per month and their time
frame:
a) Schematic plan of fabrication of 125m span open web
girder.
b) Organization with qualified key personnel.
c) Methodology and capability of providing shop
drawings, fabrication plan etc.
d) Details for deployment of the workshop resources
(Plant and machinery) with land plan required for
workshop.

Para 6
of tender Notice should be read as under:-

Performance Guarantee (P.G.): Please note that in addition
to Security Deposit, the successful Contractor will have
to submit a performance Guarantee @ 5% of Contractual
value in form of a Bank Guarantee Bond in token of
commitment to complete the work successfully. The
Performance Guarantee will have to be deposited after the
Letter of acceptance has been issued but before signing of
the Agreement and should be valid up to date of completion
plus 60 days beyond that PG may be required to be extended
further in case of extension of DOC for extended DOC plus
60 days beyond that. Details in this regard are available
in the Tender document.

Para 3.4
(xv) (b)
of tender Notice should be read as under:-

The
Joint Venture should be got registered with registrar of
companies under companies act or with
Registrar/Sub-Registrar under registration act 1908 before
issue of acceptance letter.

7. |
Final
tender document is in complete super-session of the Draft
tender documents. Tenderers shall submit their offer only
on the Final Tender Document and not on the Draft Tender
Document. Offer submitted on the draft tender document
shall be summarily rejected.

8. |
Tenderers who have already purchased the
draft tender documents from the office of the undersigned,
need not pay again for final tender document and can
obtain it either from the office of the undersigned(duly
giving the details of the payment towards the cost of the
draft tender document) or from the internet.
