HPC
is having two large integrated Pulp & Paper
Mills located in Assam with installed capacity
of 1,00,000 MT per annum each of Finished Paper.
Besides there are two subsidiary companies
Hindustan Newsprint Limited, Kerala and Nagaland
Pulp & Paper Company Ltd., Tuli, Nagaland
(which is closed at the moment. However, revival
package has been approved by the Government).

HPC
requires various raw materials, chemicals,
equipment, spares, consumable on regular basis.
For HPC, NPM unit, interested parties with sound
techno-commercial stature may send their letter
of interest in the format given.

Detailed
application forms can be obtained from
the following Office on payment of Application
Fee of Rs.2000/- each for each group of
material, by cash or DD:-

DD
should be payable at State Bank of India,
Sonakuchi, Guwahati.
|
|
|
Intending
applicants who download Application Forms from
the Website will have to deposit application fee
of Rs.2000/- along with the application.
|
|
5.0 |
Processing
of application: |
|
|
The
application
shall be processed on half yearly basis. The
application received upto 30th
September shall be processed from the 1st
of October and application received after 30th
September and upto 31st March shall
be processed from 1st of April.
Individual intimation may be given to successful
applicants regarding their registration.
However, names of successful applicants shall be
made available at website.

(ii) |
Please
submit your application in the format as at
Annexure – III & Bank particulars for
payment through ECS as at Annexure – IV duly
filled in along with credentials and documentary
evidence.

(iii) |
Application
should be submitted in sealed cover superscribed
with “Application for Pre-qualification of
Vendors” (indicating the material Group/Sub
Group Number).
|
|
7.0 |
All
existing vendors are deemed to have been
empanelled. However, for updating our data bank
and widening the scope of their supply, they may
also apply alongwith their latest financial
status issued by bank.

8.0 |
Following
details/ documents should be furnished along
with the application, failing which application
shall be liable for rejection.
|
|
|
i) |
Group
& Sub-Group of materials applied for. |
|
|
ii) |
Copies
of orders executed during last 3 years for
relevant items with performance certificates
from Customers. |
|
|
iii) |
Company
Details: Whether Proprietorship/ Partnership,
Private Ltd. Or Public Limited with documentary
evidence. |
|
|
iv) |
Copy
of SSI/ NSIC/ KVIC Registration Certificates, if
applicable. |
|
|
v) |
Photocopies
of VAT/Sales Tax Registration Certificate and
Income Tax PAN Card. |
|
|
vi) |
Latest
Bank Solvency Certificate. Solvency certificate
shall be issued by the Bank Manager in Bank’s
Letterhead mentioning the name with account
number and nature of operation (i.e overdraft
account/cash credit account/current account
alongwith the limit as may be applicable) and
specifically mentioning last three years’
turnover. |

vii) |
Authorized
dealership certificate wherever applicable. |
|
|
viii) |
Technical
leaflets, literatures, drawings, datasheets and
wherever applicable may be attached alongwith
the application.
|

9.0 |
Notice
inviting bids shall be issued to the
Pre-qualified/ Empanelled Vendors as and when
requirement arises for the relevant Groups of
material applied for. HPC will usually go for
limited Notice Inviting Bids among the
Registered/ Pre-Qualified vendors for regular
requirements against the item groups registered.
However, HPC reserves the right to go for open
tender as and when deemed fit. In these cases,
HPC may send the advance copy to the registered
vendors. Otherwise they may directly apply
against the tender.

10.0 |
The
vendor once empanelled is to respond against our
specific enquiry to be sent to them giving our
specific requirement with detailed specification
and other techno-commercial terms and
conditions.
|
|
11.0 |
HPC
reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all the applications without assigning any
reason thereof. HPC may not enlist any new
vendors where sufficient vendors are already
empanelled. In such case, application fees shall
be refunded.
