Earthwork in
cutting, filling, blanketing, compaction, construction of
minor bridges, ROBs, supplying, fabrication & erection of
composite girders, construction of station buildings, staff
quarters and other ancillary works (except earthwork & minor
bridges from 0.00 to 10.00 Km), in connection with
construction of new BG rail line between Hazaribagh-Shivpur –Tori
(Approx 93.Km.)

It is intimated that the date of dropping and
opening of above tender are executed from 30.01.08 and
01.02.08 to 20.02.08 and 22.02.08 respectively on
administrative ground and details are as follows.

It is
intimated that following para’s concerning eligibility
criteria and definition of “similar nature of work” are
modified and should be read as under:-

In the case of composite works involving
combination of different works, even separate completed
works of required value will be considered while evaluating
the eligibility criteria.
In the instant tender similar nature of work has been
defined as “ a work consisting of earth work
with or without blanketing/granular sub base in
formation with mechanical compaction (minimum quantity
of earth work with or without blanketing/granular sub
base executed should be 27 lacs cum), Concreting
works involving at least 100 running meter of bridges
of span 12.2m or more (minimum quantity of concreting
executed should be 28000 cum) and other associated Civil
Engineering works of the same contract” as such
a tenderer, who has completed one work of value
at least equal to 35 % of the advertised tender
pertaining to earth work with or without blanketing/granular
sub base in formation with mechanical compaction (minimum
quantity of earth work with or without blanketing/granular
sub base executed should be 27 lacs cum) and other and
other associated Civil Engineering works of the
same contract and also has completed in
a separate contract of value at least equal
to 35 % of the advertised tender value pertaining
to concreting works involving at least 100
running meter of bridges of span 12.2 m or more (minimum
quantity of concreting executed should be 28000 cum)
and other associated Civil Engineering works of
the same contract, will be considered as having
fulfilled the eligibility criteria of having completed
single similar nature of work. |
In the case of composite works involving

quantity of earth work with or without blanketing/granular
sub base executed should be 27 lacs cum) and other associated
Civil Engineering works of the same contract and
also has completed in a separate contract concreting
works involving at least 100 running meter of
bridges of span 12.2 m or more (minimum quantity of
concreting executed should be 28000 cum)
Or
one work of value at least equal to 35 %
of the advertised tender pertaining to concreting
works involving at least involving
at least 100 running meter of bridges of span 12.2 m
or more (minimum quantity of concreting executed should
be 28000 cum) and other associated Civil Engineering
works of the same contract and also has
completed in a separate contract earth work
with or without blanketing/granular sub base in formation
with mechanical compaction (minimum quantity of earth
work with or without blanketing/granular sub base executed
should be 27 lacs cum), will
be considered as having fulfilled the eligibility criteria
of having completed single similar nature of work. |
