EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR EMPANELMENT FOR OUTSOURCING WORK IN RESPECT OF ACTIVITIES RELATED TO SHIPBUILDING
 

GRSE Ltd. invites “Expression of Interest” for empanelment for outsourcing work in respect of activities related to shipbuilding as listed below. JOBS IN BOLD LETTERS ARE THE AREAS WE ARE ESPECIALLY LOOKING FOR EOI.

i)  MS hull block/panel fabrication at sub-contractor’s premises
 

ii) MS hull block/panel fabrication at GRSE premises (( Raja Bagan Dockyard/Main works).
 

JOB –B
 

Aluminium hull block/panel fabrication at sub-contractor’s premises
 

JOB –C
 

Plumbing work onboard ships/sites at GRSE premises/Dry Docks
 

JOB –D
 

Electrical work onboard ships/sites at GRSE premises/Dry Docks

Hull Outfit work onboard ships/sites at GRSE premises/Dry Docks. Hull outfit work includes installation of outfit items like manholes, doors, hatches, ladders, scuttles, windows, guard rail & awning stanchions etc.

Rigging jobs & sail loft jobs like awnings , ceremonial awnings ,canvas covers etc on board ships /Sites at GRSE premises/Dry docks.

Lining  out marking of compartments.

Hiring of D.G. sets during undocking ( Ranging from 5KVA to 300KVA).

Grit Blasting & Painting job at sub-contractor’s premises

Grit Blasting & Painting, Metal spraying jobs at onboard ships/sites at GRSE premises/Dry Docks.

Catering services during Sea trials of ships

Accommodation items, Hiring for Sea Trial

Insulation work on compartments & exhaust pipes for M/E ,DG sets and insulation of other system pipes.

Fitment of  hull blocks inside GRSE  for ships made out of special steel to DMR -249 A or D40 S grade with average plate thickness of 8 mm.
 

JOB -R
 

Fabrication & Erection of  Seats for ABS B and ABA quality steel.
 

JOB -S
 

Dry Survey & water , Air pressure and hose testing of compartments & tanks on board .
 

JOB -T
 

Cleaning & Material handling jobs of production jobs in Main works
 

JOB -U
 

Chipping & grinding of sub assembly works of hull blocks at shop floors/slipways/Dry   dock/RBD and at other units of GRSE.
 

JOB-V
 

Processing of steel plates at  sub-contractor’s premises.

Landing Ship Tanks , Water Jet FACs (10 Nos.), ASW Corvettes (4 nos.) and IPVs  are in the construction line.
 

3.

Firms interested in above jobs are requested to submit their credentials as per format enclosed, indicating the jobs areas as above and along with documentary evidence of related experience.
 

The other credentials would include the following :-
 

(a)

Copies of original documents constituting company profile, place of registration and principal place of business
 

(b)

Total  monetary value of work performed for each of the last three years
 

(c)

Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last three years  and details of works underway or contractually committed.
 

(d)

Latest income tax return.
  

(e)

Name addresses and fax number of the bankers and contact person of the firms.
 

(f)

valid Sales Tax Clearance Certificates
 

(g)

PAN No
 

(h)

Solvency Certificate from Banker
 

(i)

Copies of registration with PF/ESI/ Service Tax authorities
  

(j)

Audited annual accounts for last three years along with annual reports.
 

The same may please be forwarded  to DGM (Contract)(Main), at GRSE Main at the above address in sealed envelops Superscribing “ Expression of Interest for Outsourcing work” by 28 Feb 2008 (1400 Hrs).

Firms already registered with GRSE for a particular activity/ activities need not apply afresh for those activities. They may, however, apply for other jobs. Registered vendors need not enclose credentials at 3 (c), (d),(e),(f),(g),(h),(i) and (j).
 

5.

Firms found suitable after judging the credentials would be empanelled with a ranking and may be issued tenders for the job in which they are empanelled in due course depending upon their position in ranking.
 

6.

GRSE reserves the right to accept/ reject any application without assigning any reason.
