TENDER FOR SELECTION OF PARTY FOR PREPARATION AND SERVING
MEALS TO OFFICERS ON ALL WORKING DAYS INCLUDING OVERSTAY
OFFICERS ON SATURDAYS AND OFFICERS BOOKED FOR DUTY ON
SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS IN THE DIFFERENT UNITS OF THE COMPANY
LOCATED IN WEST BENGAL.

GRSE is a Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry
of Defence and is engaged in Shipbuilding, Ship Repairing
and General Engineering works.
|
| 2. |
The company intends to engage a party for preparation
and serving meals to officers of the company on all working
days including overstay officers on Saturdays and officers
who are booked for duty on Sundays and Holidays. Meal
preparation and service would be carried out in the premises
of the Officers’ Canteens of all Units (Main Unit, Fitting
Out Jetty, 61 Park Unit, Taratala Unit, Belur Unit and
Rajabagan Dock Yard Ltd.) located in West Bengal as envisaged
in the Guide Lines and Terms and Conditions of the Tender
at Annexure-I. However, the Vendor / Caterer will have
the option to serve meals through tiffin carrier to the
officers booked on duty on Sundays and Holidays.

The interested parties may collect the tender document
from Corporate HR Department on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rupees
Five Hundred Only) by Crossed Account Payee Banker’s Cheque
or Demand Draft / Banker’s Pay Order from any scheduled
Bank (Other than Co-operative Bank) payable at Kolkata
and drawn in favour of Garden Reach Shipbuilders &
Engineers Ltd. Kolkata or download from comapny’s website
and drop the sealed offer in two parts (Part-I Technical
& Commercial bid and Part-II Price Bid only) as envisaged
in Tender Document addressed to the Deputy General Manager
(HR) Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd., 43/46,
Garden Reach Road, Kolkata – 700024 in the Tender Box
kept in HR Department. Offer may be submitted on or before
08 May’08 by 12 hrs. Tender Document consists of following

Sealed offer should be submitted in duplicate in two parts
in two seperate envelopes (viz. Part-I ‘Techno Commercial
Bid’ and Part-II ‘Price Bid’). Part-I bid incorporating
‘Techno Commercial Bid’ (Annexure V) shall also incorporate
a seperate envelope superscribed as ‘EMD’. Crossed Account
Payee Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft / Banker’s Pay Order
for Rs. 90,000/- (Ninety Thousand) only from any scheduled
Bank (Other than Co-operative Bank) payable at Kolkata
and drawn in favour of Garden Reach Shipbuilders &
Engineers Ltd. Kolkata towards EMD must be kept in a seperate
sealed envelope superscribed as EMD only. Part-I ‘Techno
Commercial Bid’ shall be kept in another sealed envelope
superscribed as Part-I ‘Techno Commercial Bid’. The two
sealed envelopes i.e. ‘EMD’ and Part-I ‘Techno Commercial
Bid’ shall be kept in another sealed envelope superscribed
Part-I ‘Techno Commercial Bid’, EMD, tender number and
due date etc. Part-II ‘Price Bid’ (Annexure-VI) shall
be placed in a seperate sealed envelope indicating ‘Price
Bid’, tender number and due date of opening etc. Finaly
envelopes containing Part-I and Part-II Bids should be
put together in another sealed envelope superscribing
“Part-I ‘Techno Commercial Bid’ and Part-II ‘Price Bid’”,
tender number and due date of opening etc. and submitted
as prescribed.

It should be noted that tender number, due date of opening
and type of Bid should be superscribed on the envelope
of each Bid seperately.
|
| 6. |
Vendors who will down load tender documens from GRSE website,
must attatch the application fee of Rs. 500/- through
Crossed Acount Payee Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft /
Bankers Pay Order from any scheduled Bank (Other than
Co-operative Bank) payable at Kolkata and drawn in favour
of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited Kolkata
with Part-I ‘Techno Commercial’ Bid.
