DOCKING PONTOON FOR SALE

A Docking Pontoon of size
51 m × 18 m × 2 m fitted with necessary outfitting
items like Bollards, Fair leads, hatches etc. along
with Sacrificial Anode is for sale 'as is where
is' basis. The Pontoon was built by GRSE in the
year 2002 and is in good condition.

by post in sealed envelope superscripting ''Price
Bid for Pontoon'' addressing the same to ''General
Manager (IE & P), Garden Reach Shipbuilders
& Engineers Ltd., 43/46, Garden Reach Road,
Kolkata-700024'' on or before 28th April 2008, 2
pm as per the attached Format. The bids will be
opened on 28th April 2008, 2:30 pm in the office
of undersigned.

by the rules and regulations regarding final terms
and conditions of GRSE Ltd.

A prior appointment may be taken
by the bidder company for arranging inspection of
the Pontoon at site.
|
| 2. |
The sale price of Pontoon will be
paid to GRSE in Indian Rupees in the form of Bank
Draft (of any scheduled Bank other than Co-operative
Bank) drawn in favour of ''Garden Reach Shipbuilders
& Engineers Ltd.'' payable at ''Kolkata'' before
taking delivery of the Pontoon.

All taxes and duties, as applicable,
will be paid by the bidder before taking delivery
of Pontoon and the same will be in addition to bid
price.

| 4. |
GRSE will not be responsible for
any defects / shortcomings in the Pontoon after
the delivery of the same is taken by the bidder.
|

The bidder company will be solely
responsible for taking delivery of the Pontoon as
is where is basis from the GRSE Dock / Jetty at
their own cost.

| 6. |
All disputes relating to this contract
is subject to the jurisdiction of the District Court
situated at Alipore, Kolkata.
|
| 7. |
Price bids through E-mail and Fax
will not be entertained. GRSE reserves the right
to reject the bids without assigning any reasons.
|
| 8. |
EMD for this bid is Rs. 1 lac, which
will be submitted in the form of a Bank draft as
per item 3 above and will be enclosed in a separate
envelope. Thus there will be two envelopes (one
for price bids and another for EMD). Both these
envelopes will be put in one envelope and submitted.

| 9. |
EMD of successful bidders will be
adjusted with the sale price.
|
| 10. |
EMD of unsuccessful bidders will
be returned within 14 days of finalization of the
sale deal.
|
| 11. |
Any bid without EMD will be rejected.
