are invited for and on behalf of BSNL by the Divisional Engineer Telecom,
M/W Project, 11,Nayapally,Unit-VIII, Bhubaneswar from ELIGIBLE, REGISTERED
& EXPERIENCED CONTRACTORS OF SOUND FINANCIAL STANDING for the works
details of which are given below as per the specifications laid down in
the Tender Document.

However, BSNL will not be held responsible for any postal delay

3. |
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
[ FOR HDD WORKS] :
|
| i) |
The contractors should have valid Contract/Trade license.
|
| ii) |
The Contractor should be in a position to execute the work in narrow
lanes of cities areas.
|
| iii) |
Should have the ownership/ lease of atleast 1(one) HDD machine
and accessories.
|
| iv) |
Should have executed HDD works of minimum 5(five) Kms in last 2(two)
years
|
|
4. |
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS [FOR PLB DUCT LAYING
& ASSOCIATED WORKS] AND OTHER OAN WORKS.
|
| i) |
Registered
Contractors of category “C” and above are eligible to participate
in the NIT.
|
| ii) |
Contractors having Experience in OFC/Underground Cable laying, irrigation,
railways, road and building work with sound financial condition
can take part in the tender. A Certificate to this effect issued
by an Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/ Divisional
Engineer should be enclosed along with the Bid document.
|
| iii) |
The Contractors should have valid category contract license for
civil works issued by CPWD/ State PWD/ Irrigation/ Railway Departments
etc. and must satisfy all other conditions stipulated in the tender
document. BSNL Empanelled Contractors of A1,A,B,C & D category
are also eligible to participate in the NIT.

| iv) |
Each bidder can participate for maximum 2(two) sections only.
However, bidders having excavator machines can participate for
maximum 3(three) sections. Documents in support of ownership/
lease of Excavator should be submitted along with the bid documents.
|
| v) |
Contractors
whose performance was unsatisfactory during the last one year in
any division under the jurisdiction of DGM MWP, Bhubaneswar are
not eligible to participate in the tender. The decision of DGM,
MWP,Bhubaneswar in this regard will be final and binding on all.
|
|
5. |
Tenderer
should submit valid EPF Code Book along with Qualifying Bid or that
must be produced by L1 bidder prior to execution of agreement.
|
|
6. |
Bidders
must satisfy all the conditions and submit the required documents
mentioned in the bid document.
|
|
7. |
Tenderers
have to apply in their letterheads specifying the name of the works
for issue of tender papers.
|
|
8. |
Separate tender
papers should be purchased for each Section of Sl. A &
B.
|
|
9. |
Time
is the essence of work contract. The tenderers who are certain to
complete the works within the stipulated time as mentioned in the
tender document and NIT need only participate in this tender.
|
| 10. |
Tenderers have to fulfill the eligibility conditions as laid down
in the Qualifying Bid for opening of their Financial Bid documents.
|
| 11. |
Tender Papers of such agencies whose performance in DOT/BSNL have
been unsatisfactory will be rejected. Decision of DGM, MW(P),Bhubaneswar
in this regard will be final and binding.
|
| 12. |
Tender document, not accompanied by the requisite Bid Security
(EMD) shall be summarily rejected.
|
|
13. |
Contractors/
Agencies not fulfilling the eligibility conditions need not take
part in the tender. Taking part in the tender without fulfilling
the eligibility conditions will be at their risk only.
|
|
14. |
Tenders
will not be accepted / received after expiry of date and time.
|
|
15. |
Conditional
Tenders will not be accepted.
|
|
16. |
The
DGM M/W Project, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to reject any or
all tenders, in part or whole without assigning any reason thereof.
