3059-1987, PART-1, ERW -320 (Latest).
|
|
3. NOTE:
|
|
A. MATERIALS SHOULD STRICTLY CONFORM TO
THE ABOVE SPECIFICATION.
|
|
B. BOTH END OF THE TUBES TO BE ANNEALED
AS PER STD OR A LENGTH OF MINIMUM 6 INCHES AND PLAIN SQUARE CUT ENDS.
|
|
C. MANUFACTURE OF PRODUCTS : ELECTRIC
RESISTANCE WELDED TUBES -AS PER BS:3059, PART-I-1987-CLAUSE NO-5.
|
|
D. DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCE : AS PER ABOVE
SPECIFICATION.

E. TESTING, TEST CERTIFICATE ETC : AS PER
ABOVE SPECIFICATION.
|
|
F. MANUFACTURER SHOULD PROVIDE WORKS TEST
/ INSPECTION REPORTS/CERTIFICATES. IF REQUIRED, DPL, MAY ALSO INSPECT THE
MATERIALS AT MANUFACTURES WORKS BEFORE DESPATCH.

|
G. PROTECTION : THE TUBES SHALL BE
SUPPLIED (Packed in Bundles) WITH SUITABLE PRESERVATIVE FROM INSIDE AND TO
BE PAINTED BY TWO COATS OF RED OXIDE AS AN ANTIRUST PRESERVATIVE FROM
OUTSIDE. THE TUBES SHALL BE PROPERLY FITTED WITH PLUG TYPE END CAPS AT
BOTH ENDS, SO THAT THEY REMAIN SECURED IN POSITION UPTO FINAL DESTINATION
STORES AND DIFFICULTIES NOT FACED IN PRESERVATION DURING STORAGE AT SITE.
