THE DURGAPUR PROJECTS LIMITED

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following positions.
 

1.

Manager (Raw Materials)
 

Candidates must have Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent or Associate Member of Fuel Technology (by examination) which is treated as equivalent to BE/B.Tech. awarded by any University, with 5 years experience of which 3 years experience in a responsible position. Age limit 40 years as on 01.01.2008. Age may be relaxed for deserving candidate.
 

2.

Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical/Chemical) for Coke Oven Group of Plants
 

Candidate must be First Class B.E./B.Tech. In respective engineering discipline of 4 (four) years Degree Course from a Govt. recognized University/Institution approved by AICTE. Age limit 28 years as on 01.01.2008.
 

3.

Graduate Engineer Trainee Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication – for Power Plant & T&D / Civil
 

Candidate must be First Class B.E./B.Tech. in respective engineering discipline of 4(four) years. Degree Course from a Govt. recognized University/ Institution approved by AICTE. Age limit 28 years as on 01.01.2008.
 

4.

Trainee Jr. Manager (Welfare/Personnel)
 

Candidate must be Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce or its equivalent with post Graduate degree or diploma in Personnel Management/Social Work (Labour Welfare) / Industrial Relations from a recognized institute or passed Labour Welfare Training Course conducted by Labour Deptt. Govt. of West Bengal. In addition, the candidates should have qualified in the Viva-Voce test conducted by Labour Deptt. Govt. of West Bengal (for Welfare discipline only). Age limit 28 years as on 01.01.2008.
 

5.

Fire Officer
 

Candidate must be Graduate in Science/Arts/commerce or its equivalent with Associate Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers, London, or its equivalent or successfully completed of Divisional Officers’ Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur with 6 years experience out of which 3 years experience in a responsible position. Age limit 50 years as on 01.01.2008.
 

6.

Security Sub-Inspector.
 

Candidate must be Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized Institute /University with 5 (five) years experience as A.S.I. in Police/Para-Military Service/ Jr. Warrant Officer of Indian Air Force/Chief Petty Officer of Indian Navy / Naib Subedar of Indian Army. Age limit 37 years as on 01.01.2008.
 

Stipend/Pay Scale for the selected candidate (s):
 

SI. No.1 – Pay Scale Rs. 10000-325-15525/- plus D.P.D.A. and other allowances as admissible to the regular employees of the company. Applicants found suitable, will be initially on probation for 1 (one) year.
 

SI.No. 2 & 3 :- The trainees will be given stipend of Rs.12,000/- per month during training period of 1 (one) year and thereafter, if found suitable through written test and interview, shall be absorbed initially on probationary period of 1 (one) year as Asstt. Manager as applicable, in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-275-13500/- plus D.P., D.A. and other allowance as admissible to the regular employees of the company.
 

SI.No. 4 :- The trainees will be given stipend of Rs.8250/- per month during training period of 1 (one) year and thereafter, if found suitable through written test and interview, shall be absorbed initially on probationary period of 1 (one) year as Jr. Manager as applicable, in the pay scale of Rs 5500-11260/- plus D.P., D.A. and other allowances as admissible to the regular employees of the company.
 

SL.No. 5 :- Pay Scale Rs.5500-170-6500-210-8500-230-11260/- plus D.P., D.A. and other allowances as admissible to the regular employees of the company. Applicants found suitable, will be initially on probation for 1 (one) year.
 

SL.No. 6 :-Pay Scale Rs.4500-150-5250-175-7000-200-8800-225-9700/- plus D.P., D.A. and other allowances as admissible to the regular employees of the company. Application found suitable, will be initially on probation for 1 (one) year. Knowledge of Computer is desirable for all above positions.
 

All Pay Scales/Allowances likely to be revised.
 

Other Facilities: Quarters/H.R.A., Medical Benefit, Electricity Allowance, C.P.F., Pension, Gratuity, Incentive, LTC, Leave Encashment, Leave and Holidays as admissible as per rules.
 

Other Conditions: Reservation norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH Category candidates shall be followed. Age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates, as per norms.
Age/Experience may also be relaxed for eligible and eligible and suitable Departmental candidates.
 

Service of each category is transferable.
 

The name of the candidate under Exempted Category (EC) for selection purpose shall be considered only from the list, if any, as would be received from the Appropriate Authority as applicable.
 

Candidates who may fulfill the criteria given against each post/position only should apply. Any canvassing or personal follow up will be considered as disqualification.

X.

Other particulars. Persons working in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should apply through proper channel. Application should be made with 2(two) copies of self attested recent Passport Size photographs and attested copies  of Certificates, Marksheets, Testimonials, Age proof.
 

XI.

D.D./Pay Order : Applications should be made with Account Payee D.D./Pay Order or Rs.250/- for the post mentioned in Sl.2,3 & 4 above and Rs.150/- for other posts (both Non-refundable) except SC/ST/OBC.
