Sealed Quotations against Tender Notice No. DPL/RMS/1 of 2008-09 are invited by Manager,  Raw Materials Section, DPL, Durgapur from bonafide, experienced and resourceful contractors for the work of "Unloading & Handling of all types of coal wagons (Imported Coal, Washed coal, slack, sticky coal etc) for Coke Oven & Coal washier/Plant " DPL, Durgapur-1 for 500 to 600 wagons per month and for a per of one years effective from 01/08/08. The eligibility criteria of participating in tendering by the prospective bidders would be the credential (supported by the documentary evidence e.g. work order etc) of under taking similar job of proposed one, in unloading of coal/coke from Railway wagons during last 3 (three) years. Tender would be accepted in (3) three parts with Part-I containing must conditions supported as I.T.F.C.C. S.T.C.C. etc including VAT, certificate of enlistment and credential certificates etc. along with Earnest Money deposit (E.M.D);Part-2 should contain the Techno-Commercial bid and Part-3 as price bid only. An earnest money of Rs. 95,000/- (Rupees Ninety Five Thousand) only should be submitted in Part-1 of the Tender in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Orders Bank guarantee on any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of The Durgapur Projects Ltd. Pay able at Durgapur. Cost of Tender paper will be Rs. 200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred only) + VAT @ 12.5% per set. Detailed Tender paper may be purchased form the office of Manager, Raw Materials Section on any working day except Saturdays and Holidays between 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. after duly showing the credentials and depositing the cost of Tender Paper to Cash Section , DPL till 16/7/2008. Tender Paper will be received till 3.00 p.m. or 17/7/2008. Tender will be opened with Part-1 at 03.30 PM on 17/7/2008 in the above office before the Tenderers who may wish to be present. The Part-2 i.e. Techno-Commercial Part and price part i.e. Part-2&3 of the tender of the technically qualified tenderers will be opened after duly informing them.
