1.

Sealed tenders are invited by the Sr. Manager(Civil)/Plant Service/The Durgapur Projects Ltd. in three Part Bidding System containing (1) Submission of Earnest Money (Part-I), (2) Techno-Commercial Part (Part-II) and (3) Price offer (Part-III) from eligible Bidders for the following work at Durgapur Power Station, Durgapur, Dist.: Burdwan, West Bengal.

Description of works: PROCURING AND SELLING OF CENOPHERES FROM EXISTING ASH PONDS AT DURGAPUR PROJECTS POWER STATION, DURGAPUR. (JOB NO. 128/DPPS)

Period of Contract: 24 (Twenty - Four) Months.
  

4.

Sale of  document:

Tender document cum by purchased on the basis of a written application addressed to the Sr. Manager (Civil)/Plant Service/DPL at the above address with a payment of Rs. 1,000.00 + VAT @ 12.5% i.e. Rs. 1125/- (Rupees one thousand one hundred twenty - five) only (non-refundable) in cash towards cost of tender document to be deposited to the Cash Section/DPL.
  

Tender documents to be sold on all working days except Sunday and holidays upto 26.11.2008 between 10.00 A.M. and 3.00 P.M. and on Saturday from 10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.
  

5.

Earnest Money Deposit:

Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees forty thousand) only in the form of D.D./Pay Order/Bank Guarantee on any Nationalized Bank.
   

6.

Qualification of Bidder:

As on the date of application the Bidder must have:

i)

Credential for successful completion of identical nature of job within last five years under any Govt. Organization, Govt. Undertaking/Enterprise and Autonomous Bodies. A copy of  Work Order, Completion Certificate/Payment Sheet must be submitted.
  

ii)

Permanent Account No. (PAN) including a photocopy of PAN Card, Photocopy of  P.Tax Clearance Certificate, Challan for payment of  P.Tax for the current financial year, Trade Licence, VAT Registration No., P.F. Code No./Batch No. and Service Tax Registration Certificate.
  

iii)

In addition to above, satisfactory fulfillment of other relevant clauses to the tender document shall apply.
  

7.

Submission & Opening of Tender:

The tender (Part-I, Part-II & Part-III) shall be submitted on 28.11.2008 within 3.00 PM and the Part-I & Part-II tender shall be opened on the same day at 3.30 PM.
   

8.

Tender papers are not transferable.
  

9.

Issuance of Tender Documents will not be construed to mean that such Bidders are automatically  considered qualified.
