Nagaland
Pulp and Paper Company Limited (NPPC) having its
Mill at Paper Nagar, Tuli, Nagaland is being
revived and its capacity up-graded from
33,000TPA to 89,100TPA finished saleable
printing and writing Paper.

NPPC
invites bids (techno-commercial bids in
triplicate and single price bid separately) from
reputable Integrated Paper Machine manufacturers
in a two part form as described in the scope of
work given below.

Bid
documents may be collected from the NPPC Cell, Kolkata on
payment of Bid fee by DD/cheque drawn in favour of
Nagaland Pulp & Paper Company Limited payable at par
at Kolkata. The intending bidders can also download the
documents from website www.nppc.in
or from www.hindpaper.in
in which case the bid fee has to be paid by remitting the
cost of bid document by way of DD/cheque payable at par at
Kolkata during the bid submission time.

Note:

|
a)
|
NPPC
reserves the right to verify the credentials of the Bidder
or other service firm and accept/ reject the bid.
|
|
b)
|
NPPC
reserves the right to issue to the successful bidder, a
single order/contract for complete scope of supply and
services as specified in scope of the tender or part
thereof.
|
|
Pre-Qualification
Criteria:
|
|
a)
|
The
Bidder shall be a globally reputed manufacturer of the
Paper machine including process line equipment / systems
in the stock preparation and approach flow.
|
|
b)
|
The
Bidder shall have manufactured and commissioned at least
three paper machines with pre-metered size press complete
in all respects each machine of capacity of not less than
1,00,000 tones per annum finished production of printing
and writing grades paper during the preceding five
financial years from current year 2009.
|
|
c)
|
The
bidder shall supply equipments/machineries from
units/facilities from locations which have been
manufacturing and supplying such equipments/ machineries
for the past 10 years or more (i.e. minimum 10 years
manufacturing experience) preceding the year 2009 (i.e.
from 1999 to 2008).
|
|
d)
|
The
Bidder should have recorded an annual turnover equivalent
to US $ 1500
million in any of the three preceding financial years.
Copy of original Annual Financial report for the same
should be submitted along with the bid.
|
|
e)
|
The
bidder shall have registered profit before tax in the
three preceding financial years.
|
|
f)
|
In
the event of the Bidder partnering any firm for supply and
service activities, such contractual partner shall have
proven references for executing the said supply and
service activities in a successful manner. The firm if
any, thus engaged, shall either be a group company/
subsidiary/ joint venture partner of the principal bidder.

details shall be furnished along with the Bid.
