Sealed tenders are
invited by the D.G.M. (Civil)/Plant Service/The Durgapur Projects
Ltd. In three Part Bidding System containing (1) Submission of
Earnest Money (Part-I), (2) Techno - Commercial Part (Part-II) and
(3) Price offer (Part-III) from eligible Bidders for the following
work at Durgapur Projects Power Station, Durgapur, Dist.: Durdwan,
West Bengal.

works:

EXCAVATION & EVACUATION OF
ASH PONDS BY ENGAGING EARTH MOVING MACHINERY, INCLUDING REMOVAL OF
BOTTOM ASH, FOR 24 MONTHS AT DURGAPUR PROJECTS, POWER STATION,
DURGAPUR.

Time of Completion
: 24 ( Twenty-four) months.

Sale of
document: |

|
Tender document can
be purchased on the basis of a written application addressed to the
D.G.M. (Civil)/Plant Service/DPL at the above address with a payment
of Rs. 10,000.00 + VAT (non-refundable) in cash towards cost of
tender document to be deposited to the cash section/DPL. Tender
documents will be sold on working days except Sunday and
holiday upto 10.07.2009 between 10.00 A.M. and 3.00
P.M. and on Saturday from 10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.

Rs. 15.00 lakhs
(Rupees Fifteen lakhs) in the form of D.D./Pay Order/Bank Guarantee on
any Nationalized Bank/Scheduled Bank. the successful bidder will
have to deposit balance amount of 2%, if any, of the offered amount
at the time of Agreement. .

Qualification of
Bidder: |
|
|
As on the date of
application the bidder must have the following document for
submitting along with the tender.
|
|
|
i) |
Credential for
successful completion of similar nature of Excavation and disposal
of ash/earth/over-burden earth et. in a single contract during the
last 7 (Seven) years directly under any Govt. Organization. Govt.
Undertakings (State/Central) and Autonomous Body and organization of
repute, of value not less than Rs.2.50 crores, in a period of 12
months. A Xerox copy of the work order, schedule of works and job
completion certificate should be submitted.

ii) |
Average annual Turn
over not less than Rs.5.00 crores during last 3 years. the bidder
must submit Audited Balance Sheet of last three years along with
Profit and Loss Account and Income Tax Audit Report duly certified
by Chattered Accounts. |

iii) |
Positive Not Worth.
|
|
|
iv) |
Photocopy of PAN
Card, P.Tax Clearance Certificate, Trade Licence, VAT Registration
No., Batch No./P.F. Code No., Service Tax Registration
Certificate.

|
v) |
In addition to
above, satisfactory fulfillment of other relevant clauses to the
tender document shall apply. |

Submission &
Opening of Tender: |
|
|
Pre-Bid discussion
will be held on 17.07.09. The tender (Part-I, Part-II &
Part-III) shall be submitted on 24.07.09 within 3.00 PM and the
part-I tender shall be opened on the same day at 3.30 PM.

Tender papers are
not transferable.
|

9. |
Issue of Tender
Documents will not be construed to mean that such Bidders are
automatically considered qualified.
