tenders are invited for and on behalf of BSNL by the
Divisional Engineer Telecom, M/W Projects, Berhampur(Gm)
from ELIGIBLE, REGISTERED & EXPERIENCED
SUPPLIERS/CONTRACTORS OF SOUND FINANCIAL STANDING for supply
of RCC PIPES, SLABS, ROUTE INDICATORS and Plb duct laying
work (open trenching) in the above routes, as detailed below
as per the specifications laid down in the Tender Document.

11.
|
ELIGIBILITY
CONDITIONS FOR PLB DUCT LAYING & ASSOCIATED WORKS :
|
|
a)
|
Registered
Contractors of category D and above are eligible to
participate in the NIT.
|
|
b)
|
Contractors
having Experience in OFC/Underground Cable laying,
irrigation, railways, road and building work with sound
financial condition can take part in the tender. A
Certificate to this effect issued by an Officer not below
the rank of Executive Engineer/ Divisional Engineer should
be enclosed along with the Bid document.
|
|
c)
|
The
Contractors should have valid category contract license for
civil works issued by CPWD/ State PWD/ Irrigation/ Railway
Departments etc. and must satisfy all other conditions
stipulated in the tender document. BSNL Empanelled
Contractors of A1,A,B,C & D category are also eligible
to participate in the NIT.
|
|
d)
|
Contractors
who have 2(Two) or more works in hand
in any division under the jurisdiction of DGM,
MW(P),Bhubaneswar and
not completed the same within the scheduled period are
not eligible to participate in the tender.
|
|
e)
|
Contractors
who have got 3(Three) sections in Nayagarh-Daspalla,
Daspalla-Purunacuttack OFC routes are not eligible to
participate in the tender. Those who have got two sections
in any route can apply for only 1(One) section &
contractors with one section can apply for 2(Two) sections.
|
|
f)
|
Contractors
whose contracts have been rescinded by this division on or
after 01.04.2009 are not eligible to take part in the tender.
|
|
g)
|
A
contractor/bidder can participate in all the sections.
|
|
12.
|
Cost
of Tender Document & Time Schedule:

Scheduled / Nationalised Bank for each set of BID
DOCUMENTs for each section must be made in favour of “ACCOUNTS
OFFICER, BSNL, MICROWAVE PROJECT, BHUBANESWAR payable
at Bhubaneswar. If
the Tender document is downloaded from the website a Demand Draft / Pay Order has to be enclosed separately towards the
cost of the tender document alongwith Bid Security.

advance. DET, M/W(P), Berhampur will not be
responsible for any postal delay / loss / non-receipt
of document.

well in advance to be received within scheduled date
& time. However, BSNL will not be held responsible
for any postal delay or missing in transit.

10.
|
The
tenderers have to apply in their letterheads specifying the
name of the works for issue of tender papers.
|
|
11.
|
Separate
tender papers should be purchased for 1(A), 1(B),
………………, 7(A) & for each section of 8 and 9.
|
|
12.
|
Time
is the essence of work contract. The tenderers who are
certain to complete the supply within the stipulated time as
mentioned in the tender document and NIT need only
participate in this tender.
|
|
13.
|
The
tenderer have to fulfill the eligibility conditions as laid
down in the Qualifying Bid for opening of their Financial
Bid documents.
|
|
14.
|
Tenderers
whose performance in DOT/BSNL was unsatisfactory need not
apply.
|
|
15.
|
The
Tender document, which is not accompanied by the requisite
Bid Security (EMD), shall be summarily rejected.
|
|
16.
|
Tenders
will not be accepted / received after expiry of date and
time.
|
|
17.
|
Conditional
Tenders will not be accepted.
|
|
18.
|
The
DGM, M/W Project, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to reject
any or all tenders, in part or whole without assigning any
reason thereof.

19.
|
