Cost of tender papers
should be submitted In the form of DD/Pay order from any
Scheduled / Nationalized Bank for Each set of BID DOCUMENT in
favour of “ACCOUNTS OFFICER, BSNL, MICROWAVE PROJECT,
BHUBANESWAR” payable at Bhubaneswar. If
the Tender document is downloaded from the website a Demand
Draft/ Pay Order has to be enclosed separately towards the
cost of the tender document along with Bid Security.

From 03.05.10 to 15.05.10 (11.00hrs to 14.00hrs.) every
day except Sunday & Public holidays at the offices

date & time. However, BSNL will not be held responsible
for any postal delay or missing in transit. |

Opening of qualifying Bid/ tender Documents. and verification of original documents, if
required. |
On 18.05.10 at 11.30 hrs. in the office of Divisional
Engineer Telecom, Survey & Advance Project, DD College
road,Baniapat,Keonjhar-758001 in the presence of Tenderers or
their authorised representatives with authorization document. |

Time of opening financial bid |
Will be intimated to the qualified
bidders. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
In the event of date of opening of tender being found
to be a declared holiday by central Govt. or “Bandh” called by
recognized political party, the date of opening will be the next
working day at the same time and venue.
|
|
8 a) |
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS [ FOR CONSTRUCTION OF RCC
MAN-HOLE] :
|
|
i) |
Approved and eligible
Contractors of BSNL / DOT
/ CPWD/ MES / Railways /
Irrigation/ Orissa State PWD (‘C’ Class and above) |
|
ii) |
The contractors should
have valid Contract license for civil works issued by CPWD/State PWD/
Irrigation & Railway Department etc. |
|
iii) |
The Contractor should
have satisfactorily completed works of similar nature such as
Underground tanks, PHD sewerage lines ,Canal construction, building
construction involving concrete works etc. costing 10 Lacs Or above
during the last 3(three) years. |
|
iv) |
The experience
certificate should be issued by an officer not below the rank of
Executive Engineer/ Divisional Engineer. |
|
v) |
The tenderer should
submit valid EPF Code Book along with Bid document or that must be
produced by L1 bidder prior to agreement.
|
|
8.
b) |
ELIGIBILITY
CONDITIONS [FOR PLB DUCT LAYING & ASSOCIATED WORKS] FOR KEONJHAR
CITY OAN, DHENKANAL CITY OAN, DHENKANAL-NALCONAGAR (PATCH WORK) |
|
I) |
Registered Contractors of category D and above
are eligible to participate in the NIT. The bidder has to fulfill the
eligibility conditions as laid down in clause no.7(Section IV of the
bid document) |
|
II) |
Contractors having Experience in OFC/Underground
Cable laying, irrigation, railways, road and building work with sound
financial condition can take part in the tender. A Certificate to this
effect issued by an Officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/
Divisional Engineer should be enclosed along with the Bid document. |
|
III) |
The Contractors should have valid category
contract license for civil works issued by CPWD/ State PWD/
Irrigation/ Railway Departments etc. and must satisfy all other
conditions stipulated in the tender document. BSNL Empanelled
Contractors of A1, A, B, C & D category are also eligible to
participate in the NIT. |
|
IV) |
Each bidder can participate for maximum 1(One)
sections only. However, bidders having excavator machines can
participate for maximum 2(Two)
sections. Documents in support of ownership/ lease of excavator
should be submitted along with the bid documents. |
|
V) |
Contractors who have work in hand in any division
under the jurisdiction of DGM, M/W (P), Bhubaneswar and not completed
the same within the scheduled period are not eligible to participate
in the tender. |
|
VI) |
The tenderer should submit valid EPF Code Book
along with Bid document or that must be produced by L1
bidder prior to agreement.
|
|

c) |
ELIGIBILITY
CONDITIONS [ FOR HDD WORKS] : |
|
i) |
The contractors should have valid Contract
license for civil works issued by CPWD/State PWD/ Irrigation &
Railway Department etc. |
|
ii) |
The Contractor should
be in a position to execute the work in narrow lanes of city areas. |
|
iii) |
Should have the
ownership of minimum two HDD machines and accessories. |
|
iv) |
Should have executed
HDD works of minimum 5 Kms in last 2(two) years
|
|
09. |
Separate tender papers should be purchased for
each section.
|
|
10. |
Time is the essence of work contract. The
tenderers who are certain to complete the works within the stipulated
time as mentioned in the tender document and NIT need only participate
in this tender.
|
|
11. |
The tenderers have to fulfill the eligibility
conditions as laid down in the Qualifying Bid in clause No.7(Section
iv) for opening of their Financial Bid documents.
|
|
12. |
Tender Papers of such agencies whose performance
in DOT/BSNL have been unsatisfactory will be rejected. Decision of
DGM, M/W, (P), Bhubaneswar in this regard will be final and binding.
|
|
13. |
Tender
document, not accompanied by the requisite Bid
Security (EMD)shall be summarily rejected. |
|
14. |
Liasioning
with forest department, if any for ROW is to be done by the
contractor. However the BSNL will pay to the forest authority for ROW
|
|
15. |
Contractors/
Agencies not fulfilling the eligibility conditions need not take part
in the tender. Taking part in the tender without fulfilling the
eligibility conditions will be at their risk only.
|
|
16. |
Tenders
will not be accepted / received after expiry of date and time.
|
|
17. |
Conditional
Tenders will not be accepted.
|
|
18. |
The
DGM M/W Project, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders, in part or whole without assigning any reason thereof.
|
|
|
|
|
