1.

The Tenderer should have completed at least one similar single work for a minimum value of 35% of Advertised Tender value of work in the last three financial years ( i.e. current year and three previous financial years ).

The Tenderer should have financial ability to undertake the work. Necessary  financial credential to be enclosed. The Tenderer should have received total Contract of minimum of 150% of Advertised Tender value of work during the last three years as per current ITCC ( i.e. current year and three previous financial years ). 
  

Other criteria are :
     

A

Tenders should be accompanied with certificate of satisfactory execution of contracts of similar nature issued preferably by Railway Workshops or Diesel Sheds.

Tenders not accompanied with credentials/certificates mentioned above will be summarily rejected.
  

C

Approximate cost of the work is Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees  fifteen lakhs  only).
  

D

Earnest Money value is Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousands only ).
  

Cost of each Tender Document is Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousands only) to be deposited to Chief Cashier/E.Rly./Kolkata. Tender Document will be distributed from the Office of Sr.DME(D)/HWH at Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Howrah, on submission of Money Receipt of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousands only) in original along with letter of authority. Cost of Tender Document will be credited against HOA: Z652. Tender Documents may also be down loaded from website http://www.easternrailway.gov.in and http://www.tendertimes.com. Each down loaded Tender Document should be accompanied with Demand Draft of  Rs.  2000/- drawn in favour of FA&CAO, Eastern Railway, Kolkata, as cost of Tender Document. Those who are willing to take the Tender Document by Registered Post, they will have to deposit an additional amount of Rs.500/- ( Rupees five hundred only ) per Tender Document as postal expenses.

Tender Document will be available on all working days from 24/07/2007 to 03/08/2007  between 13-00 Hrs. to 16-00 hrs.

Last date of submission of Tender is 14-30 hrs. on  06/08/2007.
  

H

Tenders will be opened on 06/08/2007 at 15-00 hrs. in the Office of Sr.DME(D), Eastern Railway, Howrah, in presence of representatives of Accounts Department and the Tenderers.

In case of last date of submission of Tender & date of opening happens to be a holiday,  the last date of submission & date of opening of Tenders will be on the next working day and on same timings.  The Railways shall always at liberty to reject or accept any offer or offers of part thereof at his sole discretion and any such action will not be called into question and the Tenderer shall have no claim in this regard against the Railways.
