Sealed tender in packet are invited in the prescribed form by the Sr.
Divisional Operations Manager, Eastern Railway, Howrah for and on
behalf of the President of India from reputed companies/Firms or
agencies experienced in Mechanized / Manual, Dry / Wet Cleaning of
Station Complex, service building, Foot Over Bridge and the surroundings,
track drains upto outlet of platform area and disposal of accumulated
garbage, silts from track area to schedule dustbin / vat, collection and
removal of all accumulated garbage from the above areas to nominated vat
by covered hand trolley, daily cleaning of adjoining colony area under
Station Master’s control, rag picking from Railway tracks (Outer to Outer
and railway tracks adjoining to the platform) and surrounding areas of
stations on whole day basis and final dumping of accumulated garbage from
nominated vat/dustbin at station complex to Municipal dumping ground by
contractor’s own arrangement at the following stations under OPERATING
DEPARTMENT over Howrah Division.

| The
contractual period will be for 156 days (three days
a week, for 52 weeks) in one year from the date of commencement
of work.
|
| The
Tender documents will be available from the office
of Sr. Divisional Operations Manager, Eastern Railway,
Howrah at Divisional Railway Manager’s office/ Howrah
on and from
28th
March, 2008 between 11:00
hrs. to 16:00
hrs., up to 14.00 hrs of 28.04.2008 on submission
of original money receipt for deposit of the amount
(not refundable) as quoted above, as cost of the Tender
documents, obtainable from Sr. Divisional Cashier/ Howrah
or Misc. Cash counter, Booking Office, Howrah Station(Old
Complex).

Tenderer, who desires to obtain the prescribed tender
form by post, should send cost thereof plus a sum of
Rs.50/- by money order to the Sr. Divisional Cashier/
Howrah. The prescribed tender form shall be sent only
on receipt of the remittance. However, the Railway takes
no responsibility for delay, loss, damage or non receipt
thereof. Under no circumstances, amount paid for the
prescribed Tender form shall be refunded.

The
Tender document can also be down loaded from Divisional
website
www.tendertimes.com.
The cost of tender form has to be paid in the shape
of Demand Draft, Pay Order drawn in favour of FA &
CAO, Eastern Railway, Kolkata and to be enclosed with
the tender form while dropping the tender along with
the tender document. If the Tender document is down
loaded from the Website, it will be the responsibility
of the tenderer to note the corrigendum , addendum,
if issued subsequently.

| The
Tender form is not transferable.
|
| Duly
completed forms, in the sealed covers addressed to Divisional
Railway Manager (Operations),Eastern Railway Howrah
Division should be dropped on or before 15.00 hrs. of
28.04.2008 in the Box kept for the purposes at the office
of Sr. Divisional Operations Manager, Eastern Railway,
Howrah at Divisional Railway Manager’s building(1st
floor),near Welfare section, Howrah.

| The
Tender Box will be opened in presence of the applicants
or their representatives at 16.00 hrs. on 28-04-2008
at the office of Divisional Railway Manager (Operation),Eastern
Railway, Howrah(Divisional Railway Manager’s building,1stfloor,near
Welfare section).
|
| In
case the date of opening of Tender box is declared a
Holiday or closed day for any unforeseen reason, the
same will be opened on the next working day at the same
time.
|
|
Earnest money as quoted above to be deposited through
Demand Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO,
Eastern Railway, Kolkata.
