Separate sealed Open Tender (Tender Notice
no. PE/53/Rg. Room/ OT /RPH/PKR/08-09) are invited by
Divisional Mechanical Engineer (Power) Eastern Railway/
Howrah for and on behalf of President of India from reputed
tenderers having sufficient experience and capability including
those registered with Railway/Irrigation/CPWD/SEB/MES or any
other Public Sector Undertaking for the following work.

Date of opening:10/06/2008
at 14.00 hours. Tender forms along with tender documents can
be obtained from Power Branch Section of Divl. Mech.Engr.(Power),
Eastern Railway, 2nd Floor, DRM Building/Howrah.
On Production of money receipt for the amount mentioned above,
to be deposited with the Dy. Chief Accounts Officer
(Cash & Pay), Eastern Railway, Kolkata on any working
day between 10.00 hrs to 14.00 hrs w.e.f. 08/05/2008 to
09/06/2008 (12.00hrs. to 16.00 hours). The tender documents
will also be available on Website
http//www.tendertimes.Com. Or
www.easternrailway.gov.in.The same can be downloaded
and used as tender documents for submitting the offer. This
facility is available free of cost. However, the Demand Draft
(drawn in f/o FA & CAO/E. Rly/ Kolkata) towards
the cost of tender document as prescribed above will have
to be enclosed along with the tender document while submitting
the same. In case the offer is not accompanied with the valid
demand draft for the cost of the tender document as detailed
above, the tender will be summarily rejected.

Sealed tender will be received up to 13.00 hours of
10/06/08
and tender will be opened at 14.00 hrs. on
10/06/08
in same office.

Eligibility Criteria:-
|

(A) Works amount upto
Rs.10.00 lakhs:-
|
| |
| i) |
The tenderers must have executed at
least one work of similar nature of 40% of the advertised
tender value of the present work in last 5 years or
they must have received payment at least 40% of the
advertised tender value of the work for satisfactory
progress executed in the last 5 years or 20% of the
advertised tender value of the work for 2(two) such
works in the last 5 years.

| ii) |
The annual turn over of the tenderer(s)
should be at least 40% of the advertised tender value
of the said work in any of the last five (5) Years.

Following documents should be specified for
submission along with tender
|

| a) |
List of personnel, organization available
on hand and proposed to be engaged for the subject
work.
|
| b) |
List of works completed in the last
three financial years giving description of work,
Organization for whom executed. Approximate value
of contract at the time of award, date of award and
date of schedule completion of work. Date of actual
start actual completion and final value of contract
should also be given.

| c) |
List of works on hand indicating description
of work , contract value, approximate value of balance
work yet to be done and date of award.

Supportive
documents / certificates from the organizations with
whom they worked / are working should be enclosed.

Certificates from private individuals for whom such
works are executed / being executed should not be accepted.
