TENDER NOTICE NO. SDSTE-TNDR- POINTS
& CROSSING (HWH/DIVN)
|
|
Sealed tenders are invited from reputed,
experienced and financially sound contractors for the
work of Renewal as well as replacement of Mechanical
& Electrical Signalling fittings of points &
crossing (Turnout / Diamond) for section / station
at KAN, SNT, SYD YARD, with avoiding line HWH, TKPR
YARD, LLH GOODS, BTNG, TAK, TBAE, BDC YARD, SHE, PDA,
MYM, SBG LOOP (JTL-GMAN Section) and (BB LOOP AZ
Section) of Howrah Division.

Criteria
|
|
| The
Tenderer Should have
|
| (i) |
Completed
in last 3 financial years (i.e. current year and 3 previous
financial years) at least one Similar Single work
for a minimum value of 35% of advertised tender value.
|
| (ii) |
Total
contract amount received during the last three years and in
current financial year should be a minimum of 150% of
advertised tender value of work.
|
| The
tenderer should satisfy about the authenticity of the certificates
by submitting attested certificate submitting from the Employer/Client,
audited balance sheet duly certified by the Chattered
Accountant etc.
|
| Tender
papers will be available from the office of Sr. Divl. Signal
& Telecom Engineer, 3rd floor DRM Building,
Eastern Railway, Howrah on any duty working day between 11.00
hrs. to 16.00hrs from 20.05.2008 to 23.06.2008 on production
of Rs 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) only non-refundable,
deposited with Chief Cashier, Eastern Railway, Kolkata, towards
the cost of Tender papers.

The
tender documents will also available on Website “www.easternrailway.gov.in”
& “www tendertimes.com”
this facility is available during the above mentioned period
and the same can be downloaded and used as tender documents
for submitting the offer. This facility is available free
of cost. However, the Demand Draft (Which should be drawn
in f/o FA & CAO/E.Rly./Kolkata) towards cost of tender
document as prescribed above will have to be enclosed along
with the tender document while submitting the same. In case
the offer is not accompanied the valid demand draft for the
cost of the tender document as detailed above, the tender
will be summarily rejected.

| Closing
date of selling Tender papers is 23.06.2008 up to 16.00
hrs. The last date of submission of Tender papers is 24.06.2008
up to 14.00 hrs. and the same will be opened on the
same date at 14.30 hrs.
|
| Earnest
Money is Rs. 79,020/- (Rupees Seventy Nine Thousand
Twenty) only and cost of work is assessed approximately to
the tune of Rs. 39,50,985/- (Rupees Thirty Nine Lakh
Fifty Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Five) only.
|
| Completion
period of the work is 240 (Two Hundred Forty) days.
