Sealed tender are invited for the following
conservancy work for supply of labours and diesil truck for
removal of garbage from Howrah Goods, New Complex area. The
contract will be for 3 (Three) years i.e.1095 days only form
the date of acceptance. Rate to be quoted per cubic meter.

Description of Work:- |
|
Supply of
fully equipped diesel truck with one driver, one cleaner and
four adult labourers including fuel etc. capable of carrying
approximately 14M3 of refuse by two trips daily (7M3
refuse per trip ) for loading and removing of refuse from
dustbins and places where accumulated by the Railway staff from
Howrah Goods area under control of CHI/HWH.Goods and unloading
the same to the Municipal dumping ground at Belgachia. Charges
for dumping garbage at Howrah Municipal dumping ground has to be
born by the contractor and the same will be paid by the Railway
Administration on production of receipt of Howrah Municipal
Corporaion. The rate is Rs.500/- per trip at present and the
rate may changes as per discretion of Howrah Municipal
Corporation. The amount will be realized along with bill.

Tender form for the above mentioned works
should be obtained from the office of the chief Health
Director , Orthopaedic Hospital, 222 church Road, Eastern
Railway, Howrah-711101 on any working day excluding
Saturday, Sunday or any holiday from 20.08.2008
to 26.08.2008 between 11:00 hrs. to 14:00 hrs. on
production of receipt of deposit of Rs.3000/- per
tender form from the Chief Cashier/ E. Railway / Kolkata or
Booking Supervisor/ E. Rly./ HWH. In no way cost of the
tender from will be returned. If the last date of selling
tender form falls on Saturday, Sunday or holiday, the same
will be given on next working day within schedule time.

The tender
document is also available on Eastern Railway’s website, ‘wwweasternrailway.gov.in
& www.tendertimes.com’. This facility is available during
the above mentioned period and the same can be downloaded and
used as tender documents for submitting the offer. Application
made in such form shall be considered valid only when the
bidder submits a demand draft/ banker’s cheque of any
Nationalized Bank of India of Rs. 3000/- ( Rupees Three
thousand only) ( non refundable) drawn in favour of FA & CAO,
E.Rly./ Kolkata as cost of tender form along with tender
documents.

The
following documents ( Xerox Copy) have to be submitted along
with tender forms. Otherwise tender form will be cancelled on
the concerned tenderer or subject to discretion of the
administration.

| a) |
Valid trade
license, co-operative registration, partnership registration
etc.
|
| b) |
Bank’s
certificate for financial soundness.
|
| c) |
Credential
of Consevancy Cleaning work on sufficiently large Industrial
areas of Govt., semi govt., organization particularly in Rly.
Station areas. The work should be at- least for a calendar
year with satisfactory performance certificate.
|
|
e) |
Satisfactory
completion of at least one single work of similar
nature (Conservancy cleaning work) costing not less than 35%
of the advertised tender assessed cost of the tender in last
three financial years ( i.e. current year and 3 previous
financial years).
|
|
f) |
Receipt of a
minimum total contract amount of 150% of the advertised
tender assessed cost of the tender during the last 3 years (
current year & 3 previous financial years) as per current ITCC
or payment certification in support of his eligibility as per
aforesaid.
|
|
g) |
The
contractor must submit the following documents of transport
where essential for carrying garbages.
|
|
i) |
The
proprietary/ partnership certificate of ownership of Lorry
along with fitness certificate & pollution control
certificate of Truck/Lorry.
|
|
ii) |
Legal
agreement with the lorry owner/ transporters using the lorry
in Railway garbages cleaning contract for the particular
specified period.
|
|
iii) |
All tax
clearance certificate of lorry.
|
|
The above mentioned earnest money have to be
deposited with the chief cashier/ Kolkata in cash/ demand
draft of any Nationalized Bank of India drawn in favour of
FA & CAO / E. Rly. / Kolkata for the amount specified.
Receipt of each amount / demand draft on the case must be
attached with the tender. No interest will be paid for the
deposited earnest money. Labour Co-operative Society has to
be deposited 50% of the normal earnest money.

Sealed
tender must be dropped in tender box either in the office of
Chief Medical Director / E. Rly. / KKK, 14, Strand Road ( 12th
Floor) , NKG Building, Kolkata or in the office of Chief
Health Director, 222, Church Road, Howrah- 711101, Orthopaedic
Hospital, E. Rly.

Tender Box
will be closed at both the offices at
14:00 hrs.
on 27.08.2008
and be opened at
15:00
hrs.
on the same date. If the last date of dropping falls on
Holiday or Saturday, tenderers can drop their form on next
working day and tender box will be closed and opened on the
same date.
|
The
authority reserves the right to accept or cancel any or all
tender without assigning any reason. The authority is not bond
to accept lowest tenderer’s rate.
