behalf of President of India from reputed Tenderers having
sufficient experience and capability including those registered or
working with Railway/Central Govt. Departments/CPWD/SEB/MES or any
other public sector undertaking for following work:

& Digitization of
Service Records
and Personnel files

Scanning/Digitization,
Indexing (Metadata) of Service Records ( SR ) and
Personnel files:-( 27130 Service Records including
Personal files having
on an average 40pages per
S.R i.e
27130 S.Rs X 40pages = 10,85,200 pages ) |

ii) |
Supply
of all the records in electronic mode. (i.e. in CD / DVD)
and uploading.

2) |
Document
Management Software requirement:- |

i) |
Installing
of retrieving and editing software for the
Scanned/Digitized, indexed documents (Metadata) in the
existing computers in the Personnel department and
Connecting / Configuring service records.
The system should be available from multiple
locations. The Software ill be password protected. |

Tender
Forms are available for sale in the Office of Sr.Divisional
Personnel Officer/E.Rly /Howrah ( HOER Section /HWH
) on production of money receipt for the cost of Tender
Form ( Non-refundable ) deposited with Chief
Cashier /Eastern Railway /Kolkata or Booking Supervisor/Howrah at
Howrah Station from 12.00 Hrs. to 16.00 Hrs. on any
working day between 28.7.2008
to 27.8.2008.( except Holiday ). The sale of
tender form will be closed at 16.00 Hrs on 27.8.2008. Tender will be
received up to 14 hrs of 28.8.08.
The Tender shall be opened on 28.8.2008 at 15.00 Hrs.
If the Office is closed on the stipulated date and time due
to some unaccounted holiday or bandh etc. the tender will be
received and opened on the next working day at the same time.
