Forms are available for sale in the Office of Divisional
Mechanical Engineer
(power) /Howrah (power Branch /Howrah ) on
production of requisite money receipt for the cost of
Tender Form deposited
with Chief Cashier, E.Railway, Kolkata between 12.00
hrs. to 16.00
hrs. on any working
days from 14.01.2009
to 04.02.2009 (except Holiday ).The sale of Tender Form
will be closed at 16.00hrs.on 04.02.2009.

| Filled-up
Tender form should be dropped in the prescribed Tender Box
placed in the office of Divisional Mechanical Engineer
(Power)/Howrah (power Branch/Howrah) upto14.00hrs.on
05.02.2009 and the tender will be opened at 16hrs. On the same date in the presence of the tenderers
at the line of opening of the tender. If the office is
closed on the stipulated date and time due to some
unaccounted holiday or Bandh etc. the tender will be
received and opened on the next working day at the same
time.

| The
tender must be submitted along with prescribed amount of
Earnest Money as mentioned above in acceptable form as
mentioned in the tender document. Tenders received without
prescribed amount of Earnest Money is liable to be summarily
rejected. Labour Co-operative other than Engineering
Co-operative has to be deposited 50% of the requisite
earnest money along with the tender papers. The tender form
is not transferable.

Intending
tenderers may down load the tender documents in full form

and while submitting tender in down loaded form, remittance
of the cost of tender form is to be made through money
receipt against cash deposit to chief cashier, Eastern
Railway, Kolkata or through Demand Draft/Pay Order of any
scheduled Bank drawn in favour of FA & CAO, E.Rly.
kolkata and that should be submitted with tender, otherwise
the tender shall be treated as invalid. Master copy of
tender documents of the tender issuing authority will be
final guideline for consideration of the downloaded tender
documents.

| ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA
|
| 1. |
The
tenderers must have executed at least one work of similar
nature of 40% of the advertised tender value of the present
work in the last 5 (five) years or they must have received
payment at least 40% of the advertised tender value of work
for satisfactory progress executed in the last 5 (five)
years or 20% of the advertised tender value of work or (two)
such works in the last 5 (five) years.

| 2. |
The
annual turn over of the tenderers should be at least 40% of
the advertised tender value of the said work in any of the
last 5 (five) years.
|
| 3. |
The
tenderer should be authorized dealer/ service agent of OEM.
|
| Following
documents should be specified for submission along with
tender.
|
| a) |
List
of personnel, organization available on hand and proposed to
be engaged for the subject
work.
|
| b) |
List
of works completed in the last three financial years giving
description of work, Organization for whom executed.
Approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of
award and date of schedule completion of work. Date of
actual start actual completion and final value of contract
should also be given.

| c) |
List
of works on hand indicating description of work, contract
value, approximate value of balance work yet to be done and
date of award.

| NOTE:
|
| 1. |
Supportive
documents / certificates from the organizations with whom
they worked / are working should be enclosed.
|
| 2. |
Certificates
from private individuals for whom such works are executed /
being executed should not be accepted.
