Sealed
tenders are invited from reputed, experienced and financially
sound contractors for Replacement of Worn Out Signaling Post and
MACL unit complete of Howrah-Burdwan
in Main Line and Chord Line Section
on Howrah
Division of Eastern Railway.

Criteria
The
Tenderer Should have
|
|
(i) |
Completed
in last 3 financial years ( i.e. current year
and 3 previous
financial years ). At least
one Similar Single
work for a minimum value
of 35% of advertised tender value.
|
|
(ii) |
Total
contract amount received during the last three years and
in current financial year should be a minimum
of 150% of advertised tender value of work.
|
|
The
tenderer should satisfy about the authenticity of the
certificates by submitting
attested certificate from the Employer / Client, audited
balance sheet duly certified by the Chattered Accountant etc.
|
|
Tender
papers will be available from the office of Sr. Divl. Signal
& Telecom Engineer, 3rd floor
DRM Building, Eastern Railway, Howrah on any duty working
day between 11.00 hrs. to 16.00hrs from 08.05.2009 to 11.06.2009
on production of Rs 3000/-
( Rupees Three Thousand) only non-refundable, deposited with
Chief Cashier, Eastern Railway, Kolkata, towards the cost of
Tender papers.

The
tender documents will also available on Website “www.easternrailway.gov.in”
& “www
tendertimes.com” this facility is available during the
above mentioned period and the same can be downloaded and used
as tender documents for submitting the offer. This facility is
available free of cost. However, the Demand Draft (Which should
be drawn in f/o FA &
CAO/E.Rly./Kolkata ) towards cost of tender document as
prescribed above will have to be enclosed along with the tender
document while submitting the same. In case the offer is not
accompanied with the valid demand draft for the cost of the
tender document as detailed above, the tender will be summarily
rejected.

Closing
date of selling Tender papers is 11.06.2009 up to 16.00
hrs. The last date of submission of Tender papers is 12.06.2009
up to 14.00 hrs. and the same will be opened on the same date at
14.30 hrs.
|
Earnest
Money is Rs.53,265/- ( Rupees Fifty Three Thousand Two
Hundred Sixty Five ) only and cost of work is assessed
approximately to the tune of Rs. 26,63,107/- (Rupees Twenty Six Lakh Sixty Three Thousand One Hundred Seven )
only.

Completion period of the work is 180
(One hundred eighty ) days.
