TENDER NOTICE

1.

Sealed Tenders in two packets, Packet – A (Technical Offer) & Packet – B (Financial Offer) are invited by the Divisional Railway Manager (Commercial), Eastern Railway, Howrah Division in the prescribed form from the reputed companies/Firms or agencies experienced in outdoor advertising or organizations of Government/Government Under Taking or Private Sector, having a minimum experience of 02(two) years in the field of Commercial Advertising which may even be outside the Railways and a minimum yearly turnover of 50% of the Reserve Price for the 1^st year, for awarding the following license

Name of license & its location:- Rights for display of advertisement through wrapping of exterior of  the coaches of 57 nos. of rakes of Long Distance(where the distance covered by the train is beyond 500 Kms.) and 27 nos. of rakes of Short Distance(where the distance covered by the train is within 500 Kms.) Mail, Express and Passenger trains primarily maintained in Howrah Division.

Reserve Price for the 1^st year (Details in Tender Document):- It is different for different trains -
a) For short distance trains, it ranges from a minimum of Rs. 2,61,360/- per rake to maximum of Rs.5,80,800/- per rake.
b) For long distance trains, it ranges from a minimum of Rs. 2,17,800/- per rake to maximum of Rs.5,80,800/- per rake. 
      

Cost of Tender Form:- Rs. 2,000/-(Non-Refundable) per rake.
       

Tender Form & Documents can be purchased from the office of Divisional Railway Manager (Commercial), Eastern Railway, Howrah (Rail Yatri Niwas Building, 4^th floor) on any working day on and from 17-07-2009  upto  14.00 hrs. of 17-08-2009 on submission of original Money Receipt of Rs.2,000/- obtainable from the Misc. Cash Counter, Booking Office, Howrah (Old Complex).

Earnest Money:-  10% of 1^st year’s Reserve Price.  
     

7.

Period of contract:- 01 year extendable for further two years on year to year basis subject to conditions
      

8.

Date & Time of submission of Tenders:-17.08.2009 upto 15:00 hrs.         
     

9.

 Opening of Tender(Packet-A):-17.08.2009 at 16:00 hrs.
