in respect of Open tender for awarding
contract for
three years Annual Maintenance Contract of
17 Nos. of Weighing Machines ( Mechanical Type with Digital
Display) at Howrah Parcel Shed.

You
are requested to issue the following corrigendum, by deleting
certain portion/provision of the clauses/paras, in the tender
documents, which has already been uploaded in the website for
the subject quoted matter.
|
Items
as highlighted in the Pages of Tender Documents required to be
deleted/modified are as follows :
|
i)
“However, one time conversion of Proprietary item if found not
in working condition in joint Inspection may be borne by Railway”
– may be deleted. (Page-3, 3rd & 4th
line below the heading “scope of work”).
|
ii)
“One time conversion of Proprietary item, if found not in
working condition and non repairable in joint Inspection, may be
borne by Railway” – may be deleted. (Page-5, 7th , 8th
& 9th
line below the heading
“Three years AMC”).
|
iii)
“The Payment against Conversion of Track switches will be made
against satisfactory completion of work” –
may be deleted. (Page-10, 1st and 2nd line
under the heading “Payment” and Clause No. 6 of “General
Condition”).

iv)
Annexure- “B11” will be read
as “AII” (Page-15,
4th line
under the heading “Schedule of Work/Rate Sheet”)
|
v)
Annexure- “BII” will be read
as “AI” (Page-
14 & 15, 5th
line under the heading “Schedule of Work/Rate Sheet”)
|
vi)
“B” may be deleted
from Annexure: A & B - (Page-17,
last line)
|
The
opening date of tender is fixed on 03/12/09 at 15.00 hrs. in
place of earlier due date 16/11/09 at 15.00 hrs. Date of
submission of Tender is upto 14.00 Hrs. of 03/12/09. Other
terms and conditions will remain unchanged.
