N. B. :

i) If any plan /drawing is supplied /attached with Tender Form, Rs. 200/- per plan/  drawing will be levied extra. 
  

ii) If any Tender Form is to be sent by Regd. Post, additional Postal Expenses @ Rs. 500/-  per Tender Form will be charged.
     

1.

All tender forms are available for sale in the office of Sr. Divisional Engineer (Co-ordn.)/Howrah on production of money receipt for the cost of tender form (non-refundable) deposited with Chief Cashier/Eastern Railway,  Kolkata or any of the Goods Shed Superintendent of Howrah & Sealdah Division or Booking Supervisor –  Howrah at Howrah station from 12.00 to 16.00 hrs on any working day between 20.01.10 to 03.02.10 (except   holiday). The sale of tender form will be closed at 16.00 hrs on 03.02.10. The tender document will be received on 04.02.10 up to 14.00 hrs. and the same will be opened at 14.30 hrs. on the same date. If the office is closed on the stipulated date & time due to some unaccounted holiday or bandh etc, the tender papers will be received and opened on the next working day at the same time.

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 26 shall be ‘Execution of any P.Way zonal / P.Way works in running line.
   

(b)           
  

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 14, 15, 16, 18,  23, 27, 28, 29,30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 & 38 shall be ‘Execution of any Civil Engineering work.’
    

(c) 

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 shall be ‘Execution of any Civil Engineering work (except P.Way work).’
    

(d)

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 12 & 13 shall be ‘Execution of Earth work in formation with mechanical compaction.’
   

(e)

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 17 & 20 shall be ‘Installation of deep tubewell.’
    

(f)

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 22 shall be ‘Execution of P.way work in running line.’
    

(g)

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 24 shall be ‘Execution of Fabrication, erection & launching of FOB over running railway track or launching of steel girder in running track’.
    

(h)

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 25 shall be ‘Execution of construction of any type of bridge/bridge jacketing work’.
    

(i)

Similar work for executed against Sl. No. 21 shall be ‘Installation of deep tube well of same or more capacity’.

The tender documents will also be available on Website www.tendertimes.com. The same can be downloaded and used as tender documents for submitting the offer. This facility is available free of cost. However, the Demand Draft (drawn in f/o FA & CAO/E. Rly/Kolkata) towards the cost of tender document as prescribed above will have to be enclosed along with the tender document while submitting the same. In case the offer is not accompanied with the valid demand draft for the cost of the tender document as detailed above, the tender will be summarily rejected.
   

Eligibility Criteria:-
   

(A) For works costing up to Rs. 20 lakhs. :- Please see the Tender document.
   

(B)

Works amounting above Rs. 20 lakhs. :-
   

1.

Tenderer should have completed in the last three financial years (i.e., current year and three previous financial years).
      

At least one similar single work for a minimum value of 35% of advertised Tender value of work.
     

2.

Total contract amount received during the last three financial years i.e. current year and three previous financial years.

Should be a minimum of 150% of Advertised Tender value. Tender Committee would satisfy themselves about the authenticity of the certificate produced by the tenderer(s) to this effect which may be an attested certificate from the employer/client, audited balance sheet duly certified by the chartered Accountant etc.

    

       

5.

Following documents should be submitted along with the tender :-
    

a)

List of personnel, organisation available on hand & proposed to be engaged for the subject work.
    
    

b)

List of Plant & machinery available on hand (own) & proposed to be inducted (own & hired) to be given separately for the subject work.
    

c)

List of Works completed in the last three financial years giving description of work, organisation for  whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award & date of schedule completion of work. Date of actual start, actual completion & final value of contract should also be given.
    

d)

List of works on hand indicating description of work, contract value and approximate value of balance work yet to be done and date of award.
    

Note:-

1.

In case of items (c) & (d) above supportive documents/certificates from the organisations with whom they worked/are working should be enclosed.
    

2.

Certificate from private individuals for whom such works are executed/ being executed will not be accepted.
    

3

In case of getting “identical rate” by two or more tenderers for one work the offer of the tenderer who has executed higher value of single work of similar nature during last 03 (three) years and current financial year will be considered.
