Open Tenders are invited for and on behalf of the President of India from
reputed contractors with sufficient experience in execution of similar
type of work, financial capability including those registered with the
Railway / Irrigation / CPWD / SEB / MES or any other public sector
undertaking for the following works :-

3.

Eligibility
Criteria for participation in the tender are indicate below.
Tenderer should go through this eligibility Criteria before
purchasing the tender document.

3.1(a)
|
Tenderer should
have completed at least one work of similar nature for as minimum
value of 35 % of advertised tender value of work in the last three
financial year (i.e. current year and three previous financial
year). Tenderer has to produce supportive documents/certificates
from the organization with whom they have worked along with the
tender offer. Certificates from the private individuals from
where such works are executed shall not be accepted. Similar
nature of works means: Painting of bridge structure across
electrified track and execution of mastic surfacing work on
road/railway platform.

3.1(b) |
Total contract
amount received by the tenderer during the last three financial
years & in the current financial year should be a minimum of 150
% of the advertised tender value. Tenderer has to produce attested
certificates from the Employer/Client, audited balance sheet duly
certified by the Chartered accountant etc. along with the tender
offer.

3.2 |
The three years
period mentioned in Para 3.1(a) & (b) shall be reckoned from the
date of opening of tender in question as originally advertised in
the newspaper. The extended date of opening if any shall not be
taken into account for the purpose of counting the above period of
three years.

4.
|
Tender documents
(non-transferable) embodying terms and conditions can be obtained
from the Office of the undersigned on and from 15 (fifteen) days
prior to the date of opening between 11.00 hrs. & 16.00 hrs. on
any working day. For purchasing tender document, the cost of the
tender document as mentioned above should be deposited with Divl.
Cashier Con/ E.Rly, 3, Koilaghat strand road (Gr. floor),
Kolkata-700 001 between 11-00 hrs. to 14-00 hrs. and receipt
obtained should be deposited to the office of the undersigned
towards the cost of the tender document.

The tender
documents will be available on Website "www.Tendertimes.com" .
During the above mentioned period & the same can be
downloaded and used as tender documents for submitting the offer.
This facility is available free of cost. However, the Demand
Draft drawn in favour of FA & CAO/CON/Eastern Railway/Kolkata
towards the cost of tender document as prescribed above will have to
be enclosed along with tender document while submitting the same. In
case the offer is not accompanied with the valid Demand draft for
the cost of tender document as detailed above, the tender will
summarily be rejected.

In case the
tenderer wishes to obtain tender document by post, the cost of the
tender document mentioned above plus a sum of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five
hundred) only should be sent by Money Order to the Divl.
Cashier/Con/E.Rly, 3, Koilaghat Strand Road (Gr. Floor),
Kolkata-700001. After receipt of the remittance, the undersigned
shall send the tender documents by Post to the tenderer. The Railway
takes no responsibility for delay, loss, damage or non-receipt of
tender document sent by post.

5.
|
The tenderers are
advised to visit the site of work and acquaint themselves with the
conditions and expected quantum of work in their own interest. The
tender must be accompanied with prescribed amount of Earnest
Money as mentioned above in acceptable form as mentioned in the
tender documents. Adjustment of Earnest Money submitted with earlier
tender or accepted tender shall not be done and tender received
without prescribed earnest money will be liable to be summarily
rejected.

The office of the
undersigned up to 12.00 hrs. will receive the tender on the date of
opening indicated above and will be opened on the same day at 12.30
hrs. in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized
representatives, who wish to remain present. Tender duly sealed in
the prescribed manner as above can also be sent through registered
post so as to reach in this office not letter than 12.00 hrs. on the
aforesaid date.

In case the date of
opening mentioned above is declared holiday/bandh, on any account,
the said date shall automatically be substituted by the next working
day.
|
|
8.
|
If the tenderer/s
deliberately gives wrong information/whose credentials/documents in
his/their tenders and thereby create(s) circumstance for acceptance
of his/their tender. Railway reserves the right to reject such
tender at any stage, besides, shall suspend the Business for one
year.
|
|
9.
|
Payment will be
remitted through EFT. The Tenderer is required to declare
Bank details and A/C No. etc. in the tender Form.
|
|
10.
|
Railway reserves
it’s right to either cancel the Tender or rejects any or all the
tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
