The scope of work is
indicative only, detailed scope & specification has been
described in tender document(s). However, details can also
be collected from the Office of the undersigned.

2. |
Eligibility criteria for
participation in tender are indicated below. Tenderer should
go through this eligibility criteria before purchasing the
tender documents.
|

3.1(a) |
Tenderer
should have completed at least one work of similar
nature for a minimum value of 35% of advertised tender
value of work in the last three financial years (i.e.
current year and three previous financial years).
Definition of similar work would mean "Execution
of soil exploration works" Tenderer has to
produce supportive documents/certificates form the
organization with whom they have worked along with the
tender offer. Certificates from private individuals for
whom such works are executed shall not be accepted.

3.1(b) |
Total
contract amounts received by the Tenderer during last
three financials years and in the current financial years
should be a minimum of 150% of advertised tender value.
Tenderer has to produce attested certificate from the
employer/client audited balance sheet duly certified by
the Chartered Accountant etc. along with Tender
offer.

3.2
|
The 3
years period mentioned in Para 3.1(b) & 3.1(c) shall
be reckoned from the date from the date of opening of
tender in question as originally advertised in the
Newspaper. The extended date of opening if any shall be
taken into account for the purpose of counting the above
period of 3 years.

3.3
|
The document(s)
(non-transferable) embodying terms and conditions can be
obtained from the Office of the undersigned at Jamalpur &
the Office of Chief Administrative Officer/Con/E.Rly/Kolkata
on the from the fortnight of date of opening between 11.00
hrs to 16.00 hrs upto a working day earlier to the date of
opening. For purchasing Cashier/Con/E.Rly/3, Koilaghat
Street, Kolkata-1, Divl. Cashier/E.Rly./ Malda Town or
workshop Cashier/E.Rly./JMP or Sr. Cashier/JMP/Sahibganj
between 11.00 Hrs. & 14.30 Hrs. and receipt obtained which
should be deposited to the undersigned towards the set of
tender document.

The tender documents will
also be available on website www.tendertimes.com
and hyper linked with Eastern Railway's Official website.
(www.easternrailway.gov.in).
This facility is available during the above mentioned
period and the same can be downloaded and used as Tender
Documents for submitting the offer. This facility is
available free of cost. However the Demand Draft (Which
should be drawn in favour of FA & CAO/Con/E.Rly./Kolkata)
towards the cost of Tender Document as prescribed above
will have to be enclosed along with the Tender Document
while submitting the same. In case the offer is not
accompanied with the valid Demand Draft for the cost of
the Tender Document as detailed above, the Tender will be
summarily rejected.

In case the Tenderer wishes
to obtain tender document(s) by post the cost of tender
documents mentioned above plus a sum of Rs. 500/- (Rupees
Five hundred) only should be sent by money order to the
Asstt. Chief Cashier/Con/E.Rly. 3 Koilaghat Street,
Kolkata-1. Divl. Cashier/E.Rly./Malda Town. After receipt
of the remittance the undersigned shall send the tender
document(s) by post to the Tenderer. The railway takes no
responsibility for delay, Loss or non-receipt of tender
documents sent by post.

The tenderers are advised to
visit the site of work and acquaint themselves with site
condition & expected quantum of work in their own interest
before submitting their offer.
|

7.
|
The tender must be
accompanied with prescribed amount of earnest money as
mentioned above in acceptable form as mentioned in the
tender documents. Adjustment of earnest money submitted
with earlier tender or recovery from outstanding bills for
earnest money would not be accepted for the tender. Tender
without prescribed earnest money will be summarily
rejected.

The tenders complete in
all respects and with all documents as started above
should be deposited in the tender box kept in the Office
of the Chief Admn. officer/Con/E.Rly./14 Strand Road (NKG
Bldg./4th floor) Kolkata-1 upto 12.00 hrs. on the date
of opening indicated above.

The tender will be received
in the Office of the Chief Admn. Officer/Con/E.Rly/14,
Strand Road (NKG Bldg./4th floor) Kolkata-1 upto 12.00
hrs. on the date of opening indicated above & opened on
the same date at 12.30 hrs. In presence of the Tenderer,
who wish to remain present. Tenders duly sealed in the
prescribed manner as above can also be sent through
registered post so as to reach in the above-mentioned
office not later than 12.00 hrs. on the aforesaid date.

10.

If the Tenderer deliberately
gives the wrong information/wrong credentials/documents in
his/their tender and creates circumstances for acceptance
of his/their tender, Railway reserves the right to reject
such tender at any stage besides shall suspend the
business for one year.
|
|
11.
|
In case the date of opening
mentioned above is declared holiday, on any account, the
said date shall automatically be substituted by the next
working day.
|
|
12. |
The Railway reserves the
right either to cancel the tender or reject any or all
the tender without assigning any reason thereof.
