Chief Administrative officer (Con), Eastern Railway, Kolkata, India for and on behalf of the President of India, hereby invites sealed proposals in two envelope system for engagement of Architect, Technical and Financial Consultant from reputed architectural, technical, Real Estate and Financial consultancy firms or consortia of such firms to provide consultancy services for preparation of the Master Plant, Feasibility Report, Real Estate Feasibility Report, Economic and Financial Feasibility Report, Technical schedules, preparing Request for Technical proposal (RTP) Documents, managing RTP process and defending technical issues for Howrah Station.

RFP will be available for sale and will also be loaded on Eastern Railway's official website http://www.easternrailway.gov.in and http://www.tendertimes.com from 24/11/09 on wards.

RFP documents can be obtained from the Office of Chief Administrative Officer (Con), Eastern Railway, 4th floor, New Koilaghat Building, 14 Strand Road, Kolkata-700 001, India between 11.00 hrs. and 17.00 hrs. on all working days from 24/11/09 till 07/01/2010 on payment of a fee of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten thousand only) in person/upto 24/12/2009 on payment of a fee of Rs.12,000 (Rupees Twelve thousand only) by post, in the form of a demand draft or banker's cheque drawn on any Schedule Bank in India in favour of FA&CAO (Con), Eastern Railway and payable at Kolkata.

Proposals in prescribed format should be submitted at the place described in the RFP documents on or before 12.00 hrs. of 8th January, 2010 (Proposal Due Date). If the Proposal Due Date (PDD) happens to be a declared holiday at a later date, the RFP will be opened on the next working day at the stipulated time.
