The scope of work is
indicative only, detailed scope & specification has
been described in tender document(s). However, details can
also be collected from the Office of the undersigned.

Eligibility
criteria for participation in tender are indicated below.
Tenderer should go through this eligibility criteria
before purchasing the tender documents.

(a)
|
The
tenderer must have executed the work of 'Providing of
Hired vehicle before or must have executed any
works-contract under Rlys.
|

(b)
|
The model
of vehicle to be supplied shall be TATA SUMO or similar.
(Diesel/Petrol)

(c)
|
The year of manufacture of
the vehicle to be supplied should not be before 12.01.08.

|
The following documents
should be submitted with the offer.

Work of similar nature :
- Documents in support of similar nature of work
executed earlier.

|
|
Description of the
vehicle:- (i) Make (b) Registration number (c) Year of
manufacture (d) Driver's Name and Licence Number (e) Copy
of Road Tax Clearance Certificate token (f) Insurance (g)
Pollution Certificate (h) fitness Certificate (i)
Reference of Blue Book.

Tender Document(s)
(non-transferable) embodying terms and conditions can be
obtained from the office of the undersigned at Bhagalpur
& the Office of Chief Administrative Officer/Con/E.Rly/Kolkata
on and from the fortnight of date of opening between 11.00
to 16.00 hrs up to a working day earlier to the date of
opening. For purchasing Tender Document, the cost of the
Tender Document as mentioned above should be deposited
with the Asstt. Chief Cashier/Con/ E.Rly., 3, Koilaghat
Street, Kolkata-1, Divl Cashier/E.Rly./Malda Town or
Workshop Cashier/E.Rly/JMP or Sr. Cashier/JMP/Sahibganj
between 11.00 Hrs. & 14.30 Hrs. and receipt obtained which
should be deposited to the undersigned towards the set of
tender document.

The tender documents will
also be available on Website " www.tendertimes.com
". and hyperlinked with Eastern Railway's Official
website (www.easternrailway.gov.in).
This facility is available during the above-mentioned
period and the same can be downloaded and used as Tender
Documents for submitting the offer. This facility is
available free of cost.
However, the Demand Draft (Which
should be drawn in f/o FA & CAO/Con/E.Rly./Kolkata)
towards the cost of Tender Document as prescribed above
will have to be enclosed along with the Tender Document
while submitting the same. In case the offer is not
accompanied with the valid Demand Draft for the cost of
the Tender Document as detailed above, the tender will be
summarily rejected.

In case the Tenderer wishes
to obtain tender document(s) by Post, the cost of tender
documents mentioned above plus a sum of Rs. 500/- (Rupees
Five hundred) only should be sent by money order to the
Asstt. Chief Cashier/Con/E. Rly, 3 Koilaghat Street,
Kolkata-1, Divl. Cashier/E.Rly./Malda Town. After receipt
of the remittance, the undersigned shall send the tender
document (s) by post to the tenderer. The Railway takes no
responsibility for delay, loss or non-receipt of tender
documents sent by post.

The tenderers are advised to
visit the site of work and acquaint themselves with site conditions and expected quantum of work in their own interest
before submitting their offer.
|
|
7.
|
The tender must be
accompanied with the prescribed amount of earnest money as
mentioned above, in acceptable form as mentioned in the
tender documents. Adjustment of earnest money submitted
with earlier tender or recovery from outstanding bills for
earnest money will not be accepted for the tender. Tender
without prescribed earnest money will be liable to be
summarily rejected.

Tenders complete in
all respects and with all documents as stated above
should be deposited in the tender box kept in the Office
of the Chief Admn. Officer/Con/E. Rly/14, Strand Road, (NKG
Bldg./4th floor) Kolkata-1 upto 12.00 hrs. on the
date of opening indicated above.

The tender will be received
in the Office of the Chief Admn. Officer/Con/E.Rly/14,
Strand Road (NKG Bldg./4th floor), Kolkata-1 upto 12.00
hrs. on the date of opening indicated above & opened
on the same date at 12.30 Hrs. in presence of the
tenderers,
who wish to remain present. Tenders duly sealed in the
prescribed manner as above can also be sent through
registered post so as to reach in the above mentioned
office not later than
12:00 hrs. on the aforesaid date.

10.
|
If the
tenderer/s deliberately
gives wrong information / whose credentials /
documents in his / their tenders and thereby create (s) circumstances for acceptance
of his / their tender. Railway reserves the right to reject
such tender at any stage, besides, shall suspend the
Business for one year.
|

11.
|
In case the date of opening
mentioned above is declared holiday, on any account, the
said date shall automatically be substituted by the next
working day.
|
|
12.
|
Construction
workers cess @ 1% of the cost of construction work will
be deducted from the bill of the contractor. Cost of
materials supplied under separate item shall be outside
the purview of the cess.
|
|
13. |
The Railway reserves its right
either to cancel the tender or reject any or all
the tender without assigning any reason thereof.
|
